Found! Enjoyed the quick walk up the hill to see the ruins and find the cache! TFTC
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, a nice brisk walk up the hill to find the cache, log signed and popped back, a few quick pics and we were off, thanks for placing this cache
Enjoying a beautiful Spring day grabbing a few caches towards Burra Gorge.
We picked up the trackable and will move it along on our travels.

Im here on a FTF chase, and with that now concluded, I’m doing some of the other caches on offer on this frosty sunny July morning.
Ooooh, a large!!
Actually, it looks like it’s been downsized over the years, but a find is a find. My recent study of maps in Eudunda tells me that this property is on the good side of the Goyder Line, but it looks like it still didn’t end well for them.
TB token dropped.
Thanks for the hide postiegirl06, and to Aussie M&M for keeping it in play.

The JAMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) along with tallbikestan left home early to head up to Clare for the June Long Weekend and of course we didn't go straight there. We had a few detours along the way which made for an interesting day travelling around stopping at Truro, Eudunda, Worlds End, Burra and Mintaro with the occasional cache in between.
We arrived in Clare with just enough time to check into our accommodation, do a bit of shopping and get to the dinner event. A great start to our weekend. [^]
The boys did the climb to this one which was soon found once at GZ.
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

So the JAMS team managed to get a bonus day off so headed off towards Clare early, but strangely it took about 8 hours to get there. We found a range of caches along the way, so thanks for placing them for us to find.
found in a light rain shower.
The JAMS team (( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, and sir_spectre ) plus TallBikeStan for this trip ) are headed off to the 20 th JuneLongWeekend Event in Clare. As you would expect extension poles, blow up kayaks, waders and ladders are in the car. I am sure every one else takes 11 hours to reach Clare from Adelaide, i am also sure via Burra is the logical to Clare . There was many photos taken of the fun times we had, even involving a ladder in the creek and of course many dirt roads ventured down. All caches for the weekend where stamped as JAMS and some more caches where placed on our travels. The missing JAMS member Michells&hound joined us in our B&B in Clare but didn't join with us for the JLWE game. The weather slowly got better over the weekend. It's good to see some gadget and creative caches around Clare that are permeant and not temp game caches.

Today I headed north for a day of caching around Eudunda. It was a perla of a day for caching perfect temperature, blue skies and it was good to be alive.
Found around 50 caches for the day. Saw loads of sleepy lizards tying to cross the roads.
Lovely area will be back soon for more. So many caches to find so little time.
This one took me ages to find, this is definitely not large . TFTC

We had to pull up a little way away for safe parking with the camper trailer, which made my hill a little less extreme than others may have attempted. Incredible ruins with a lovely view. A nice stop as Tweety2 & I make our way to Langhorne Creek for the JLWE caching weekend.

A nice spot to build a home. And a great spot to place a cache. Although today it was a hit windy and chilly. TFTC
Drove past with Sebastbat and Jack the other day but didn't get up there,
early this morning we took off by torchlight up from one end and an easy find was made.
Surprised only one last year and that was eight months ago.
A nice old cache location that needs some love.
Thanks for bringing us here postiegirl06 , and thanks for another smiley

After seeing the last owner maintenance note, we thought we would try this one again as we were driving past. A quick find this time around :c) Would have been great to find and see the old cache container! But at least we now have a smilie :cD TFTC postiegirl06!
Sadly after 9 years my cache is MIA, most likely taken by the farmer who has replaced the fence nearby. Pretty sure the last finder did not find on the date stated but that's ok. The original container was a vintage metal fire water container, I'm disappointed to have lost it but that's life. I've replaced today with a small red container hidden at same GZ and sheltered by a rusty piece of tin, watch out for snakes here
We went to the spot where we thought it should have been located. We think it may have been removed.
Our first DNF for today :c( As we like things 'red' we were keen to check this cache out whilst in the area. After half an hour of searching around GZ and beyond, we left unsuccessful.
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

A couple of days out from the SA Mega and I was on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones I attempted were in good shape. I think I will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......
Thanks for this one......
Thanks for this one......
With work bringing us to Eudunda we decided to clean up some of the caches off the beaten track and enjoy some of the countryside, going up was not to bad but i took the long way down turning the return trip into a T2 lol, really cool cache container and quite a few swaps in there. TNLN. TFTC

Eudunda netball for our Geodaughter so on a very cool morning we drove and picked up this one. Some one had put chewys in this one but they attract ants so removed the Chewys. TFTC
Headed out with Dennisc52, earthlight and CPwander to meet up with McKee Clan, firesafe, chrispy89 and GPS to assault the auzzie convict's series near Eudunda and for that series, we were known as Team Bugger! [^]
Since I had already found some of this series, by day's end I only had 67 smileys as well as having 2 DNFs but overall, we all had a great day with no DNFs at all on this series
Since all the other teams had gone their seperate ways only firesafe on his lonesome and the gang in Harry continued together, caching on our way home.
Cool cache hide
A nice little walk into GZ for those of us who hadn't yet done this cache, while the fireman and the wanderer with us sat in the cars!
No fires today and by night time, we were all wishing there was as it was cool outside.

Found as part of the record run to SA by The Demolition Crew (TDC). While, I am not a member of the TDC, I was fortunate enough to be caching with Blacklegend, Quasar3671, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts on what was for me, a huge adventure.
As I live with Blacklegend, it was fantastic when he said "Do you want to come to South Australia on a huge caching trip". I jumped at the chance, as I'd never been to S.A. or Adelaide, and it was a fantastic feeling to know I was going to be part of something big, and I was.
To be part of the Australian 24 hour record, at such an early stage in my caching career, so to speak, and part of so many other finds, was experience building beyond anything I could have hoped for.
****************
After the huge day we had Tuesday, some might think that we would rest up on Wednesday. However, there was no rest, and we were at it again, early. We targeted and completed the APM, PSA, 50, 60 and 40 series. There were other caches we found as well during another big day. In the end, I was glad to be able to see Adelaide and find a few caches there as well. Being the junior member on the team, it was fantastic to see how the others planned this, and the final result, being over 1000 caches in 48 hours.
****************
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, and on Blacklegend's advice and with his assistance, I have also gone with the generic logs. As the others have stated, it in no way takes away from the fantastic and enjoyable hides we found on the trip. As Blacklegend and the other have said, my sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. TFTC, memories and the experience.

This cache was found during The Demolition Crew with Ponty95 24 hour and 1000 caches in 48 hours record breaking challenge caching run in South Australia.
I've been on quite a few caching road trips during my time as a cacher and this one was one of the best. The idea was to see how many caches we could find in 24 hours, with the goals being to break the Australian 24 hour caching record, and then continue on the next day to see if we could eventually find a total of 1000 caches or more in the 48 hours. Needless to say we did manage to fulfill both goals.
Not only does SA have some lovely contryside and Adelaide itself is famous for its churches, SA is also known for its numerous, extensive and well laid out cache 'powertrails'. The OZ Mega, OZ Signal and the Wandering Heros series of caches in particular are the largest and just a few of the many that can be tackled. With this is mind, TDC started planning the 24 hour challenge caching run back in late 2012, and over a period of many, many months we laid out careful plans on how we were going to break the Australian 24 hour caching record, as well as find as many caches as possible while on the road.
The intricate attention to detail proved to be esssential to us completing our goals. With routes planned, essential supplies loaded (especially museli bars, water and energy drinks) and every cache detail documented, we headed off on the 6th to begin our journey. By the end we had accomplished what we had set out to do, smashing the 24 hour record and finding over 1000 caches in the 48 hours. We had an absolute ball and needless to say were knackered by the end but the final result was worth every hours lack of sleep.
Apart from finding many 'stand alone' caches we did manage to complete the OZ Mega, Oz Signal, Wandering Heros, TDF, APM and PSA series, the 40, 50 and 60 series of caches as well as a number of Adelaide puzzle caches and a few Melbourne - Adelaide multi caches.
Due to the number of cache finds and the resulting number of logs to write, I am reluctantly using a generic log to log each cache. The same goes for my fellow TDC cachers and Ponty95, full appreciation goes out to each of the CO's who placed caches that we found, and without your caches our fantastic caching experience would not have come to fruition.
Thanks, Quasar3671.

Found as part of the Demolition Crew record run to South Australia with fellow TDC members Quasar3671, Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and a guest on the trip, Poynts95.
The trip was a fair while in the making, and many aspects had to align to make it happen, including all of us getting the time to go. However, the "stars aligned" so to speak for us, and the trip was on. A date was set and much planning engaged, and when I say much, I mean a very large amount. We had an old saying where I used to work, and that was "Failing to be prepared, is being prepared to fail", so, we prepared, and prepared and prepared.
With a challenge set, being, could The Demolition Crew find over 500 caches in 24 hours, we headed forth to South Australia, the magical land of power trails, and over the duration of the trip, found in excess of 1250 caches, and indeed, easily beat the goal on our record day. Importantly too, we had a great time together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While you might think after the huge day on Tuesday, that Wednesday we might rest up, but oh no, again we headed out early after getting some sleep under the belts. We completed the APM, PSA, 50, 60, 40 series and a stack of other caches here and there. The other caches included two 5/5's and some completed there P81 challenge on a very nice conclusion to a 5/4.5 cache. Another great day, and we did get 1000 in 48 hours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the extremely high number of finds for the trip, I am opting for a generic log, which I never normally do, but as the others have stated, it in no way detracts from the high quality of hides we found on the trip. My sincere thanks to all cache owners who placed and maintain their caches, and made this trip possible for our group. You have all been part of the best caching road trip we have yet made. When the Wandering Series was first published it had been on the agenda of The Demolition Crew, however we were not able to arrange a time when all of us could go over. Fortuitously as time went by, more trails were published. Upon looking more closely at South Australia recently, there were many more power trails than we realised, and a plan was hatched to go over and grab as many caches as we could. We were all finally able to arrange a mutual time during the Easter school holidays, so the planning stages began.
Given the limited amount of time available to us, and so many caches to grab, we realised that a huge effort was going to be needed to grab them all. Rebel Acts being known for his record breaking 24 hour runs suggested that we try a 24 hour run of our own. Now there was a thought, a challenge in fact we readily accepted. A bit more planning (a lot more actually) and a route was chosen and run sheets drawn up.
With all the puzzles solved, and most of the multi's these caches were reduced to traditionals for the run day. With cars packed, stamps made, and spirits high we made our way to South Australia to find some plastic.
Wednesday might have been a day of rest, but when you plan to get 1,000 caches in two day, there is little rest. Today the 50, 60, 40, PSA and APM series were collected before starting to head back to Victoria. The highlight of the day was collecting two 5/5 caches in one day, and completing the P81 challenge by collecting a 5/4.5 cache.
While I am using a generic log, it does not detract my appreciation of all the CO's who have put the time into placing and maintaining these caches. To each and every one of you, I thank you for being part of what has been the best cache road trip yet. Thank you!

The cache was found as part of A massive cache run to South Australia with TDC Members Trailrunning, Quasar3671 and Blacklegend and a ring in Ponty95. It had taken us time to get this all together, finally a date was set and planning was started, I learnt one thing from my late mate dak's Emu Mob AKA Dave Kruger "Proper Planning prevents piss Poor Performance" he always said. Trailrunning was our master planner on this trip. I did this as part of a team but I also did it as a tribute to dak. having set the Australian Record twice before the question was, does the Rebel still have what it takes, I think the answer for that was yes. The challenge had been set down on FB "could the TDC find over 500 in a day, well we took up the challenge and headed to the power trail capital of Australia.

While I am using a generic log, it does not detract my appreciation of all the CO's who have put the time into placing and maintaining these caches. To each and every one of you, I thank you for being part of what has been the best cache road trip yet. Thank you!
Go TDC. LLTRTA

Not what we were expecting but a surprise container, quick find on the way to do the TDF series TFTC
I had just completed the Tour de France series, and was heading back to my motel, and was picking up caches along the return path, as well as some other nearby caches near town. This was one of them. I liked the old ruins along this road. They are testament to how many people ventured their future here, only to be let down by the elements.
My thanks to PG06 for this cache.

Out with CPWanderer and Aussie M&M for a days caching to forget about work and make it to 900. After bombing out at a blast of an expedition, continued along the "summer track only' and came out just near this cache. Had to stop and have a look. Nice recycling PG06.
On the way to the TDF with Deano and picking these up along the way. Sent Dean up the side of the hill to hunt out. TFTF
