Out with the boys this weekend. Heading home today but stretching a little further to grab some smileys after camping the night at Mollerin Rock. What a beautiful spot! ZED! Sure knew where to hide emLove finding his archived caches - they take up to some awesome places we would never have known about Many thanks ZED! for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 6828 find.
Another archived cache found here whilst stopping through Wongan Hills.A great spot here. Thanks for bringing us here ZED
Headed out to the Wheatbelt for a night of camping with B12, C10 and Geotrakka. Rolled out of Perth nice and early with the intention of cleaning up caches south of the Great Eastern Highway, before changing direction and pushing north and west towards Koorda. The next day we pushed west. Love spending time out in the Wheatbelt, perfect weather for it too! Cheers ZED!!
On an overnighter in the northern wheatbelt to check out the wildflowers with the muggle wife, fortunately I was able to grab a few smilies in the process.
A great spot that I wouldn't have otherwise known about. Parked up right next to GZ, cache is a little worse for wear but still able to sign.
ZED! I found your cache at 9:24am, this was the 2nd of 6 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7055.

A work trip has me touring around the Wheatbelt. Made a few stops for some caches.
Spotted this archived one on the screen. A nice easy find although the container is a bit brittle. Log safe and dry in a plastic bag.
A great spot to find. Might come back and camp a night.

Out & about a crazy road trip with the kids, taking the roads less travelled this was another cache found along the way... Whilst the kids headed straight towards the water, I headed the opposite way to find the cache which was quickly found in the obvious spot
TFTC & for bringing us here ZED! This spot was very picturesque this afternoon on this perfect winters day [^] Although the clips are missing on the cache the contents still remain in good condition, cheers!

After spending the weekend at Ninghan Station taking part in the State Rogaining championships with my daughter, we headed back to Perth grabbing several caches along the way. Quick find here. TFTC.
I decided to pack the swag and head away for a 24hr road trip and made plans to head up north to grab caches in a few more counties for a challenge that I have my eye on completing . I scoped out a route that would give me 7 more WA counties and also targeted quite a few of the archived caches that are seemingly still in play [^]. I had a fantastic time caching up here and a huge thanks to all the CO's for the effort in placing the caches!
ZED! - jinta29 found your cache Lakeview. This is my find #6067 and find #6 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for the time and effort taken to place this cache!

Made a special effort to come out to this beautiful part of the world to pick up some ZED caches before they are archived. We have done ZEDcaches before and like all the others this one did not disappoint! Thanks for all your caches ZED we will be sad to see them all go!
That was our quickest find yet. We had looked up the sat pic before and worked out it must be opposite of the single shrub. When we drove into the car park Kevin already said "I can see the shrub" and there he hopped out and had it in his hand before I got out of the car. We were surprised on the high water level of the lake. TFTC - a pitty these will be gone soon. And we are off to the next one.
Last Call!
This Geocache will be permanently archived in July.
Thank You to all who have enjoyed my tour of the Wheatbelt.

Found while out on a Sunday ride. Lake dry. Container will need to be replaced soon as it is no longer closing properly.
After getting supplies in Wongan Hills we stopped here for a cuppa, the lake had a bit of water in it. Cache an easy find. Thank you.
We had the picnic area to ourselves this morning which made for an easy uninterrupted find

Great cache. I often camp here for a few.days in my converted bus/motorhome. Lovely and peaceful. Thanks for the find.
We decided to stop here for lunch, there was a caravaner here who looks like he has settled in for a while butl luckily he was at the other end of the car park to the cache. Soon located it and headed back to finish my lunch. No water in the lake today but still a lovely spot apart from the flies.

Picked this cache up whilst out for a weekend drive between New Norcia & Wongan Hills. Lovely spot.
Stopped off at the Lake for a quick stretch on our drive out to our camping spot near Mukinbudin.
There were a couple of muggles camped up, and the wind was freezing, but other than that - a nice spot. TNLN. TFTC.

Our mission today was to rescue some Geocaching.com.au moveables that had been stranded out in the Wheatbelt for the last month.
Managed to fit in some traditionals as we made our way around.
40 degrees out here so no camping for us fraidy cats. Will be overnight in a local pub who know's where?
Have been watching this lake as we got closer and closer huge isn't it. Locals have been out playing on it, better them than us, think that salt could do alot of damage to your car.

Came out to find this one after my morning walk around Christmas Rock. Picked up Ballidu Lad on the way through, knowing he would enjoy seeing the lake again. Lots of water in the lake, and several mountain ducks (shelducks) on the shoreline. Unfortunately, the place was a little crowded with muggles camping nearby. No sign of life from their campsites, so hoped they were all still sleeping. Approached GZ, and realized it was right near one of the caravans. Snuck in very quietly and retrieved the cache without being detected. Left candy cane, took penny. TFTC
From september 23th till october 15th 2011 i made a birdwatchingtrip in SW-Australia. We went from Perth straight north till Kalbarri NP and thrue the wheatbelt to Albany and back to Perth. Near all the campingspots i looked if there where any caches around and when possible i went for a quick search between afternoon-drinks and dinner. i drove the campervan so i didn't have to cook
This cache is not visited for 5 month's because in Holland caches are almost visited every weekend. Easy to find stash. We've seen about 50 red-cabbed plover on the shores of the lake, very nice.

Popped in for another look and a quick break whilst exploring the area again. Its almost 2 years since we here last and made the find. Walked down to GZ from the tables and went straight to it without the GPS. Memory cant be that bad yet!.
All seemed good.

We had previously camped within meters of this cache before we took up geocaching.

A nice easy find and the water looked inviting. This was quite an experience. The water is so salty that you can't sink. I usually go down like a stone but in this water I could float with arms, legs and head out of the water. We came out white with salt and used half a tank of fresh water trying to wash it off. The clothes are still in the boot a stiff as cardboard. TFTF
Wow what a storm!
Thanks for breaking up the long road with some this cache you place along the route.
We found this one on our 10 days 4000Km trip from Nannup through the goldfields and wheat belt, with our goal to find to oldest (6 years) awaiting ftf cache in WA: Nichols knob

While heading into town after spending the night at New Norcia we noticed this cache come up on our horizon. Turned out to be a great spot to pull up with the caravan for our lunch stop and would also have been a good overnight spot (if we didn't have more caching to do). TNLN. Thanks nobodyZ
No muggles to be seen, so we had the full attention of every mozzie. The log was quickly signed and replaced.
The lake looks very pretty.
Thanks for the cache.

Just passing through on a wildflower trip. T plastic rooster L 1943 Australian penny. TFTH
Too many caravanning muggles peering at us wondering what we were doing so gave it away till another day.
Did some prospecting with a metal detector but only got up to our ankles in mud on the "beach"
Had good fun with team Wombat though.

There wer too many caravans close by to atempt this one would not want to give it away, will try it next time we are up this way.
I was in the area so I couldn't pass up the opportunity of finding this cache. Quite a well worn path to the cache. Not sure if it's been made by cachers or muggles answering the call of nature. TFTH.
Staying in Dandaragan for a couple of days, so out and about exploring the area. We saw the log by LP&N so it looks like we are following them again.! Plenty of flies around on this warm day, but a nice spot all the same, the water was so blue!
A nice easy find.
TNLNSL..Thanks for the cache here.

How many times saltier than the sea ? was it 6 times ? It makes you wonder if this lake was once fresh water and that all the land clearing has made it salty. We hope man hasnt done that much damage.
The lake looks inviting and we are sure that with all that salt you would float well. It also looks like a suitable overnight camping area.
Took wombat keyring added Chux cloth
Thanks for the Nobodyz tour of the wheatbelt...there are lots of his caches out here

Found the cache easily an signed log. Then had a wander along the shores of the lake to stretch our legs and look for any of the locale inhabitants but they were all in hiding. So we had a quick cuppa and headed off again. Thanks for the cache.

Although the lake was full enough for water skiing it was probably a bit too cool today. This is a nice spot to stop and revive while out for a drive.

Another one of NobodyZ's excellent cache series. We enjoyed watching the colourful sunset that reflecting the lake. Walked down to the water shooting some pictures. It was so peaceful. Thanks to NobodyZ for bringing us to another beautiful spot and the cache.
been past this picnic area dozens of times and never went in to read the very interesting information board there. Thanks.
After trusting 'the force', I made a wrong turn which took me miles out of my way, but maps eventually brought me back to the right spot. It almost appeared that someone else had been searching for the cache here - a lot of broken/moved bushes etc. My first Wongan Hills cache, and a FTF for my efforts. T: FTF card and a keychain, L: keyring, SL. Thanks to Rod for the cache and the FTF.
