Found this trig point on the way home from the reptile park. Driven past here so many times over the last 20years without knowing about it. Still in pretty good nick, vane connectors pretty rusty but the plaque is still present which is a rarity for us.
We really needed to get out of the house during this lockdown but stayed within our LGA , I actually own a cache nearby here so had seen the trig before but hadn’t started finding them then , thanks for the trig

A short walk up from the Tower gave me my 3rd find for the day . TFTT Geocaching Australia.

We were in the area with Banj5150 for some good Central Coast hiking caches, and grabbed trigs as we went. I'm ashamed to say we didn't even know these two trigs were her until we got out of the car, we're thankful to Garmins 'closest-cache' feature! A nice 'standard-NATO' trig, in good nick too. Always a pleasure....

We, too, only discovered this trig after chasing another cache nearby. It's a classic pedestal trig in quite good condition; no signs of vandalism with vanes still in tact and nameplate still in place. Great to come across these and they really do pop up in the most odd places sometimes.. TFTC.

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Thanks

Found with Tankengine and albida33 and others on a trip up to Maitland. We went looking for a tree climb and found this trig. Such a bonus ! TFTT

We were wandering around here planning for a future GC find and spotted the unmistakable shape up the hill. We didn't stop long enough to get good coordinate averaging but even the quick snapshot was within 7m. Trig is the typical 1970s concrete pillar with plastic post and vanes on the pillar instrument mount. Vanes are 75cm diameter and overall height is 2.8m. It's in quite good condition. Thanks Geocaching Australia.

*FTF* This was a serendipitous trig find whilst looking for a separate GC cache. Already learned in the ways of GCA I took my photo with the trig, as well as getting my mug in frame in front of each of the three nearby towers, just in case they were separate trigs to be logged. I was a little surprised to discover later that this trig pedestal was not a registered trig point on GCA. I thought Mr Cookie at least would have been this way, it's only about 200Km from home This makes me quite interested to see if there are other trigs points not yet on GCA? I would love to go hunt some out, and of course it's another excuse to go visit some remote location that meets and exceeds the current social distancing guidelines.
In this case Abestiform also noted the cache and has added it to GCA before I got a chance to properly think about how I'd go about it myself. Thanks Abestiform!
