Official name of this Trig Station as per SmartNet Australia is HBAY.
Type: LEICA GRX1200+GNSS
CORS - Continually Operating Reference Stations collecting geodetic data from GNSS.

Late this afternoon we were in Hervey Bay. As the sun was setting, we located the mast where this CORS was previously attached. The required photo is included with this log. Thanks for the cache.

TG47 has been chauffeuring me around town this morning picking up all the GC ALs. On our way back out of town our camp we called in here to grab a photo of this CORS. TFTT Geocaching Australia.
Day 17 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n for the mega and today was day 4 of the drive back to Canberra.
Second of the CORs in Hervey Bay and no problems snapping this one from the parking bays along the road.

#GA5639 - 11:05; Day seventeen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Left Bundaberg this morning heading for Caboolture, collecting caches along the way to add some more dragonZones and counties to the collection. Reached Hervey Bay and grabbed both of the local CORS while we were in the area. This one wasn't too far from our first stop. Grabbed a snap and soon on our way again.
