Description
Yielima CORS
Network: GPSnet Single Base Raw
Stream Operator: GPSnet CORS Network Victoria
Stream Format: RTCM 3.2
Constellations: GPS+GLO+GAL+BDS+QZS
According to the https://www.auscors.ga.gov.au/status/ this CORS is in a field on the south side of the Murray Way, but https://maps.land.vic.gov.au/lassi/SmesUI.jsp has this location as a survey marker of some sort, with the CORS being part of the Rural Fire Station not far away – which is where CORS are sometimes located. All maps suggest that there is nothing in the field.
Alternate coordinates for the survey mark in the field that match the Auscors map are S 35° 55.781 E 145° 14.404
Logs
Found on a very wet trip from Swan Hill to Albury.
You can see how much rain came down by all the wayer between me and the shed! TFTT

So many times I've driven past without thinking to stop for the photo.
One night, after a late run across to Albury, I did remember.

After attending the mega I cross countried here for a trip to NSW.
Picking up a few premiers, chasing an interstate cache and a few more things.
As stated this one is not across the road.
Sits on top of the CFA building.
I stopped in the heat and took a photo before moving on.

As suspected, the CORS was on the roof of the fire station. The AUSCORS site confirmed that there was one here, so it had to be published sight unseen, with the risk that it may have been decomissioned. What is was doing in the opposite field on the VIC map is anyone's guess. There is nothing in the field at all.
