Trig points are generally located at the top of hills or points of prominence in the landscape. Many provide unique views and challenges, with some being difficult to get to.
These points were regarded as valuable to surveyors, providing reference points for measuring distance and direction, and assisting in the creation of maps.
If you feel that you can add to the description of this trig point or adjust the difficulty / terrain ratings, please feel free to edit this cache and amend the information suitably. Vandalism of the cache description or other information will result in your account being terminated.

Logs
I arrived here via Noosa North Shore. The barge cost is $10 each way and only takes a few minutes so you won’t have to wait long (weekends could be different). No booking required. Once off the barge it’s sealed roads for a few kms before hitting sand where I let down my tyres to 18psi. It’s a little over 40km up the beach to get to a parking area before the uphill walk to the lighthouse and this Trig point. The beach drive was nice. It was 2 hours before low tide and I had no issues.
Once parked I walked up the track admiring the views and awesome Queensland winter weather. There were a few people around but not many. This is why I always try to visit these locations on a week day!
I arrived at the splendid lighthouse and explored the area before checking out these Trig coordinates. It’s a shame there is no beacon as that would have been a great image at this location.
I left the area via the coloured sands and Rainbow beach. There could be Earthcache in this area soon..
Thanks for the cache.
