Description

Ross Hill - ALLAMBEE PM 28

Best photo point is from McIntoshs Rd.

A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.

A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a brass plaque or pin in the ground. A beacon is sometimes erected over the top and is usually a black disc mounted on either four metal legs, a stone cairn or a concrete pillar.

To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.

Once I had figured out what road to take, I parked the car and looked around. Saw nothing, until a cow moved…and there it was. Going with the phone shot. Might replaced it with the one from the SLR when I get home. Thanx for publishing ST_7.
