Description

Bimbadeen - WARATAH NORTH PM 23

Plaque and marker pole on the roadside.

A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.

A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a brass plaque or pin in the ground. A beacon is sometimes erected over the top and is usually a black disc mounted on either four metal legs, a stone cairn or a concrete pillar.

To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.

Not easy to spot and in view of the house, but I took a quick shot and got outta there.

An easy drive-by trig. The plaque is the old school PM type that pre-dates the trig plaques that were introduced in the 70's. Easy to find with the blue marker pole.
