E1 Borumba (B 833)
This trig site is on the summit of Mount Borumba in Imbil State Forest.
Original installation was in 1940, a brass plug set into concrete with an Eccentric mark (E1) and the usual reference marks. There is no description of the station above the mark but it was probably a timber quad like the one over the nearby Yabba Ck trig which was installed at the same time. The E1 mark is all that I could find remaining which is a 25mm square plug in drill hole in rock. The old referenced fire tower has been dismantled.
AHD (for E1) 623.5m
