Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
You will need to be careful of where to park as it is on a bend highway. As we found the survey mark however we couldn't find a metal disc probably a bit far away and we will check it on our return home. It is near the highway and an easy and short climb to the spot. The area is flat and with low shrubs. Bushies2

20/5 The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 17. I was away bright and early to Fitzroy Crossing where I was disappointed to find the old crossing closed. A short stop at Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge before finishing in Derby on the Wharf.
I was happy to see a trig survey point so close to the road, no huge trek across scrub to get to this one !
Thanks

A quick find while passing. No traffic - then we stopped and it was like peak hour. No structure but the survey marker was visible in the ground (inside the ring of rocks. Photo taken.
A long time between finds. Made a quick stop on our way past and snapped required pic.
Not a very striking trig point today - the original metal structure has collapsed and some struts remain. TThe integrity of the find was confirmed by a satte Survey Marker on a star picket. TFTC
Found the survey post but couldn't find the actual disc, will check it on way back home next month
