How do you even say Clwydd??
It seems a long time since we found a trig.... this one came with a cache too, so we were keen. We parked in the street opposite O'Connor, and trekked up. The track a little hard to spot at times. Head up the rocks to the northwest side, wasn't hard at all. Great views!

Very enjoyable walk up to the base of the rock. There is a way up to the left, but not something I would do on my own. Coming down would have been the issue.

That was cool...
A neat little climb from the car to the base of the rock, and then the careful foot placement as I headed up to the trig itself. Fantastic views and well worth the effort to get up.
Photos grabbed, along with the nearby cache, and all too soon it was time to head back to the car.

1825 As I had come on down from Taree for the Canyoning Event I thought I would get a few trig points as well. A great spot that I had been to MANY years ago.
Belatedly (26/2/2016) adding the photos that were taken at that time - 26/1/2014. Unfortunately I had 'something like a stroke' that week, and lost a LOT of memory, and just working through the different SD cards and photos, and came across these photos of that Sunday.

Found together with rogerw3 at the very end of an all-day geocaching expedition around Lithgow.
And this was the best trig of the day -- with probably the best views of Lithgow that I've seen so far.
Was great to discover a trigpoint in such a great spot -- that allowed me to orientate myself in the Lithgow area. rogerw3 filled me in on a lot of local history and pointed out various spots, while we sat at our spectacular vantage point and viewed the entire valley.
True, there's a bit of a 'scramble' to get to this one, after a steep walk up the hill, but we agreed that the end panorama was well worth the effort.
Many thanks to rogerw3 for guiding me to this one!
'Four Thumbs Up' for this trig because of the views of Lithgow.

Wasn't able to climb up to the top! But the view from here is amazing!

Found it after initially thinking the post was the trig. Stood on a small boulder & saw my error. Will upload photo at a later date. Thanks.

Best way is to get into the back lane and find the pine trees, from there it is a good climb to the rock. If you feel able do climb the rock, the view from there is amazing, but beware it is a long drop if you fall!
