Description
Here’s another cute little trig... Easy walk to get there. When you get here, you will notice, apart from the trig, a windmill! Please do not post any photos of the windmill, as it is used in a GC multicache!
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a black disc on top of four metal legs or concrete pillar, resembling a navigation beacon. It is also accompanied by a metal disc, which is located directly below the center point of the tripod or on top of the pillar itself.
Trig points are generally located at the top of hills or points of prominence in the landscape. Many provide unique views and challenges, with some being difficult to get to.
These points were regarded as valuable to surveyors, providing reference points for measuring distance and direction, and assisting in the creation of maps.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.
The original collection of trig points has been sourced from Geoscience Australia and may contain inaccuracies.
Please respect local laws and regulations when searching for trig points. If you believe that a trig point is located on private property or in a dangerous location, you may archive the cache, by clicking on Log this Cache and place an "Archived" log on the Geocaching Australia website.
If you feel that you can add to the description of this trig point or adjust the difficulty / terrain ratings, please feel free to edit this cache and amend the information suitably. Vandalism of the cache description or other information will result in your account being terminated.

Out with GLISS! today hunting caches trigs and windmills. Found this guy after a lovely walk in the bush serenaded by beautiful birdsong and kept company by the wallabies.
I came up here to check the windmill and count its sails, etc. There was also a GC cache and this to log.

2nd bonus trig on our 'Run around the Brindabella's grabbing Tankengine caches' Day. Have been up here once before chasing the thing that was making a hell of a lot of noise today.
Yep, the wind was blowing........

Another trig done on a Brindabella cache/trig hunting trip. Parked in front of the locked gate, well locked up, see photo...I heard the windmill before getting to the Trig but didn't sound like it was going to fly apart today. Not sure what the "non-ionizing radiation" sign at the trig meant, so didn't hang about to find out.
Getting cold and wet now... Easy walk from the carpark though. I took some photos here and then bailed out quickly because I was dead set afraid the wind turbine was going to self-destruct!!! The thing was absolutely screaming!!! That noise can't be normal. I made sure to stay in front or behind as far as possible so I wouldn't be shredded by a blade coming off. What a weapon!

Found this with mr_roo and Ju today after a 4WD trip. We weren't planing on caching but as Curries Rd was closed we had to come back via Piccadilly so detoured to this Trig.

Found with jusojara today after a 4wd trip up Pig hill, then Coree. We had to come the long way as Curries road was closed.
The wind generator was going off its head. Thought it going to fly away. Talking about the wind. The tower on Mt Coree was making such a noise while we were up there. At less this time we had a view TFTC

CazBol and I had our complete caching day was derailed due to some unforseen circumstances, no matter, there were heaps of other caches to be found
We followed the powerline track up tot this one, but it might be easier to follow the road up instead.
Either way, a nice walk.

I was happy to pop by here because I was so focussed on the windmill last time that I didn't even see the trig

Have been up here MANY MANY times since 1982, including in the snow. A special place for me, have ridden up here from home many times too. Always nice to revisit, this time I popped in via Tumut, walked in from the carpark.

Have been up here before, but why not come again - it's an easy walk after all! Nice trig!
After reading the GCA trigs forum, it appears that the consensus is that the person who first found and published the trig gets *FTF* honours! So I’m deleting my other trig FTFs and adding the ones I published instead…
