Did an afternoon drive & completed some trigs – I call this 2 for the $ of 1 visit. Parked at gate & did the walk in the afternoon heat – sweated out the drinks from the night before. As I completed Glossop I turned & took the shots. thanks

MrT with a group of friends did a bike ride from, and back to, Linden station. He took a photo of this trig on the way past. TFTT
Love caching in the Blue Mountains, returning for now third time in a year; being escorted by a mate and introducing him to geocaching.
We parked at barrier gate near Observatory, then walked 1km down & up hill to here, also looked for nearby cache; then back again.
I'm visiting from Perth WA, attending UPW event at Olympic Park.

While I am 'sure' that I had been out to here back in the 1980's, I can't find a suitable mention in my Trig Log Book of that era. So stopped at the gate late last night, and eventually got to sleep after 2 am, and left the car at 6.45 am before the sun rose. The sun rose just as I getting the first photo of the Reservoir and Trig. 0700, Sunday, 16/7/2017

Frosty winter's morning meant there was only time for a quick photo.

found while out and about on Australia Day a bit of a walk but worth it at the end. Thanks for the trig

A very pleasant walk from the gate along the road up to both the trigs. Once there both photo's grabbed and then headed back to the car. Along the way a couple of skateboaders were heading to the trigs as well...but only so they could skate down. Crazy!!!

A sealed road walk from the locked gate on a warm early Spring day ... sighted the first snake of the season - quick as a flash, and disappeared in a blink - along the walk. Off the road there are glimpses of the outer reaches of Lake Woodford. Glossop Res and Glossop Trigs at the walk's end. Worth an extra 200m walk along the Ridge trail for a look across the valley.

This was a longer walk that I thought it would be, but an easy trig find made it quite enjoyable
It was about a 2.5 km round-trip walk up an excellent sealed roadway to this Glossop Trig and the Glossop Reservoir. It was late afternoon and the hot day had cooled off slightly, to about 25 degrees. Last time I visited and it was cool and rainy, and there were lots of people and kids and dogs, etc. Today, in perfect weather, with a nice breeze, there wasn't a soul around! I photograph both trigs, and got one nice shot with both trigs in the same photo. I wonder if it would ever be possible to get three trigs in one photo. Might be something to aim for in the future. Anyhow, a great outing, with good exercise, and two trigs! Not a bad afternoon's geocaching . . . An extra 'Thumbs Up' for the 'two trigs side-by-side' experience.

Next door to the Glossop Trig. The water tank is leaking, hopefully not the chemicals listed on the sign.

Found this one of a pair of caches with my middle son.
I walked up the hill much easier than last time I was here!

Found while walking around Linden. After a lovely walk to the trig it was great to find another trig point on the nearby reservoir. You have to love surprises.
