I have driven past these so many times & never been able to stop to get a photo, but today Geodaughter was there & took a shot every time I yelled "there's another one!"

Found with the geofamily. Shared the photo with Zonic as mine was a dud.

We were driving back to Leura after walking to the Lost World, a quick diversion and we were parked in front of this one....

Headed up to Bullaburra this morning so pulled up to photograph this trig. I could just see the top of it when I parked so went for a walk up the overbridge path and got a distance photo too.

Another trig we had to snap while driving....even slowing down wasn't an option. This road can be like a racetrack!

#GA2356 - 15:25; After weekend caching around the Macquarie region, today I was headed for the hills for a few days with the geohoney relaxing in the Blue Mountains. After collecting a couple of caches closer to sea level and a couple of trigs on the way up the hill, we stopped off at the Norman Lindsay Gallery and took a tour. It was well worth the visit and so were the scones and jam at the cafe after Back on the road again, found a convenient park and grabbed a snap of this trig on the way past. TFTT Geocaching Australia

For a number of years I've seen these but couldn't get them. Either I've been driving or it's been dark. Today however was a different story. Hopefully I've linked the right photo to the right trig. The trig is hard to see as it's kind side on and hiding with the tree in the background
Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. It was a tad bit difficult to try and find a good spot to take the photo, but it was all good in the end. TFTC GCA!

Day 2 of a run around the cerberus mountains with Toy Hunters grabbing all manner of caches.
Spotted the trig as we drove towards it, so stopped and grabbed our photo from there.

A scurry from the highway roadworks, and quickly past the reservoir with this trig ... the only logical thing to do was to follow the road around for a sight line. Early days of Spring, thankfully, as the blossoms will turn to view-blocking leaves,

Another one visible from the highway but we were able to access by a side street. Parked there and took the photos on a very windy day.
My ninth and last trig for the day.
A quick pullover and snap.

I actually have a friend who lives around the corner from this one. It was a nice easy one once I was looking on the right side of the road.
First quick stop for a trig on the way home from an epic caching trip out north and west.
cheers,

This was my final trig log on a rainy Sunday. Had no difficulty in finding a convenient place to photograph it, from beside the road. Because of the weather, I didn't make further efforts to get any closer.

Did a bunch of these water tower drive-by trigs today heading down the mountains from Blackheath to Sydney. First time home in 3 months after a drive to Perth! Cheers for the Trig

This was the end part of a run while in Oberon with HomeDG and SherpaNT for the Oberon event and a caching blitz in the region.
There are a lot of "drive by" trigs in the Katoomba area so we challenged ourselves with how many we could spot.

Q: why are there different coloured trig heads (white, black and even red?)
