Description
This trig is located high on hill in a small park, in the township of Murwillumbah
The trig location gives almost 360 degree views of the local area. Private houses almost surround the park which the only access is via a lane way next to a water tower. Although this is a well maintained council park, it has no facilities for public use.

Anyone that has geocached with me knows I don't care about numbers (or FTFs but that's another story). Quality and experiences over quantity for me. I got myself badly injured recently and my usual trig hunting routine has been paused so I'm very glad I haven't mopped up my region of easy trig finds. It doesn't get much easier than this one as you can drive up to it and get an appropriate image from inside your vehicle! I decided to get out of the van for a walk around. The trig is in great condition considering where it is. I'm impressed and very happy it hasn't been vandalised. Thanks for the cache and well done to Murwillumbah for looking after this fine example of a NSW trig station

We were heading out if town by the time we got to this trig point so we had the trailer hooked on. As such, we were a bit wary about driving up the lanes as turning might have been an issue. Turns out we shouldn't have worried as the lane splits and goes around the trig point, which we discovered after our walk up all the stairs.
Great spot - we drove right up to it. Initially we figured it must be a reservoir trig, but it was a great pedestal, and not even vandalised.... Cool.

I was expecting to have to park the car and walk up a track, but roads took me to a park and I drove right up to the trig.

Gee this trig point hasn't had much recent love. Great views, plenty of space for even the biggest vehicle to turn around, not far from the main part of town, a tarred road, freestanding so that you don't have to search for it or get out of the car to take a pic... it doesn't get much easier.

On our way home to Brisbane after spending Christmas in Lismore with family. TFTT
Stopped by on my way to try and buy some decent shoes for an 'assault' on Mount Warning. Found @ 0915, nice concrete pedestal, and will add some photos when I can access the camera SD card.
While Murwillumbah does have a 'CORS' station it is on top, and right in the middle if the Arts Museum, so unable to be seen unless on the roof.

The rain stopped for a short time making this cache a quick effort. The required photo has been added to the Gallery. TFTC
We were staying down the road at Pottsville and ended up in M'bah early on Saturday morning. We didn't have this trig point in the GPSr but took a punt that it might be a GCA trig point. It would be a great view from the top of the water tower and besides the nearby residents, probably only cachers find their way up here.

I was passing through Murwillumbah today and decided to log this trig. I’ve been meaning to log it so many times before. I had previously logged the GC cache up here (and saw it hiding in its spot today), but forgot to take the required photo with the TP. Dark clouds were brewing up today, but they only produced a couple of drops of rain.
We were spending a leisurely few days cruising around the area and stopped off here for the view and the cache.
A few scattered showers around today but we seemed to miss them when we were caching.
Enjoyed the views.

Found on a rainy day but the views were still impressive. Photos to follow. Thanks
I'm stealing the comment from the previous finder because it applies to my experience too. "Found on a glorious autumn day with clear blue skies and a stunning view of the surrounding area."
BUT I will also add..... after going round and round in circles to get there. AND I got some great pics with the permission of a nearby resident who was working on his car. Invited me to walk over into his side yard and get some great shots of Mt Warning. I suspect he has the best views in Mur'bah.
