Description

Wagonga Trig

The location is where the local TV & radio are transmitted from.

Not far from the lookout that on a clear day has views over Narooma with Montague Island as the backdrop.

To get there you will need to find a gravel road that is easy for two wheel drive and is signed as a Scenic Drive on the Princes Highway.

Please take a photo with GPS at Trig.

While staying in Delmany my daughter wanted some L-driving time, and the nearby lookout was a good destination. After looking at Narooma from above (a bit misty, but nice enough view) we headed back and we stopped quickly while I took the obligatory photo - TFTT

I came up from the highway via Hillcrest and Rifle Range Pit Roads only to find a gate with private property on it. Will have to try next time from Kianga Road and approach from there...

Just up the mountain road from my old holiday home...always cool to come back.

Once at GZ you certainly can't miss the trig. No problems and the photo was soon snapped.

Heading slowly back south, staying on the coast as the weather is lovely. Left the geovan at Narooma and drove to the lookout and got the nearby GC as well. This cache is the best drive by we have seen. It was so close to the road we didn't see it at first but walking back to it we could have run into it! Our excuse the sun was shining on it.

Paris bear bags Wagonga trig. A drive by up to the lookout, which is a bit treed in, then we followed the Scenic drive, which was quite scenic indeed.

Wow!!!! Just shy of 3 years without a visitor / logger. Definitely worth the visit for the great views. The road up here is rather friendly too.

A nice quick find of a trig in excellent condition, no one will be nicking that plaque any time soon. Seems to be evidence of an old cairn beside it. As others have noted it is an overgrown area with trees so no view. Still a good find. Will upload photos when back home.

Wasn't looking for any trigs today but saw this by the road between two GC caches, so stopped and took a picture! Will upload it when I can get it out of my phone. Totally overgrown by trees no so longer of any use I imagine.

162. Roaming around Narooma with a top bunch of people when we stumbled upon this trig. Some in the group don't do these but they should. You get to some top spots.
