In the area today to find some trigs. Spotted this one and drove till I was near enough for the photo. TFTT
#GA1308 - 13:40; Day 3 of a caching mission in and around Sydney with Sol de lune. Another water tower, another trig. This is the easy part of trig spotting compared to some we have found this trip! TFTC Geocaching Australia

One of ten trigs logged today. Two here for the price of one; with the nearby GC cache as well.

The second of six finds (GC & GA caches) as I made a Jaunt through Mount Druitt and surrounds.
Took my happy snap sitting in the car with a good view of the trig.
Bonus unloved in over 12 months since last found

Quick find of a water tower trig I wasn't aware of before this. Cleaning up all my western Sydney trigs today. A quick snap and I was off again.
Came for the water tower cache, and saw the trig. I couldn't remember if I'd already found this one or not, so I took a photo in case I hadn't. I'd previously DNF'd the cache in the dark, so I was pretty sure I hadn't already taken a photo that night. And now looking at the cache notes, I can confirm that I had not previously logged this one.
Pic will follow.

First turn into a nearby street and there it was ...

had to go to Docs but stoopidly forgot to get X rays taken; not that bad some would say BUT when your job is to take xrays so it wasn't that hard to do. Oh well least i could go caching. So headed back towards Sydneyto try for some Mt Druitt caches and whilst driving around saw this trig sitting atop the water storage thingamy. The area is quite deceptive their are a lot of nice parks and street scapes here.
The kids and I were returning home from an afternoon of GC caching when they said there was a GCA trig rather close.
I knew the location so we made the required detour and were able to drive right up and spot the trig point.
We retreated a bit to take some photos and log or first GCA trig.
Now I need to revisit the GC caches near trigs we have already logged.

Found by Geoson and I whilst out on a Sunday afternoon.
It was visible from a distance so we had to find the best location for the Pic

I was 'out west' today so dropped by to check out this trig on my way back to work.
From the Google Map view, the reservoir seemed to be surrounded by houses, so I was worried about how I was going to get a decent photo without infringing on private property.
However, I needn't have been concerned, because the trig is situation high up on a very 'towering' tower, and can be seen for kilometres.
I found that Cavill Street (in Hebersham, apparently) gave me a fairly good view, although not quite as close as I would have liked.
Thanks to rogerw3 for finding this one.
There's actually a larger, lower water reservoir adjacent to this one -- but with no trig. From the air, this latter reservoir is much more prominent. But from 'sea level' it's the other way around.
