I was exploring the area enroute to Katoomba and saw this water tower - “bet there’s a trig, and wadya know!”. TFTT
I hadn't noticed this before, but spotted it on the GPS as we wound back through the streets towards the new GC virtual...

Heading home from Emu Plains, I thought I would detour through Lapstone and hopefully get this trig. Another area we are familiar with as there are a few birdwatching places close by. Parked and started lookong for a place where I could see the trig. This proved to be more difficult as I couldnt see it. Walked around and eventually found the spot diagonally opposite. Took the photo then back in to the air conditioned car, and back home.
Was completing some caches in the area today, this 1 was 1 of them, a nice drive by completed – parked & took the shots - thanks

This trig was a little tricky to photograph. Big views not far away.

Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. As we were driving past, we quickly took a quick photo of this trig. Nice little area. TFTC GCA!

Sorry about the blurry trig. Autofocus had other ideas.

Had success at my second attempt of the day here. A fairly worn out looking old water tower and not easy to get a good shot of the vanes but easier than some others I found today.

While out trying to find a few caches out here I saw the reservoir and the trig on top, so grabbed the camera and took a couple of photos.
Nice day for it.

Been past this trig so many times lately who would of known I would be now stopping to log. TFTT.
The reservoir structures vary from one to another ... had to step afar to catch the Trig.

A nice Sunday walk through Glenbrook today, Geoson had the caches loaded into his new Explorist 610 and was keen to do them.
A very old structure we got a good view of the trig from the bottom of the street.

After finding the nearby Leonay trig by accident, I looked at my GPSr & realised this trig was also in the area & not much out of my way as I headed to Glenbrook.
What an impressive looking water tank! This one looks a lot older than most of the reservoirs in the area. But such a tall tank makes it harder to actually spot the trig on top, you need to go a bit further down the road to see it.

Can see this Trig from many places on Emu Road. Lovely part of the mountains here.
On the way to find the cache 'Forgotten Railway #1'

Always great to discover a new trig!
This reservoir is very easily viewed at the corner of Hodgson Road and Emu Road in Glenbrook. However, you need to move back a ways to be able to see the standard black trigpoint on top.
A nice quiet residential area, dominated by a large tank! Well, I guess you could have worse neighbours . . .

With an extened lunch and work in the lower mountains, this was a nice little park and grab. I had been here very early in my caching for a couple of cache at the end of Emu Rd.
Found this hard to see trig (due to the trees) on the way from Lapstone to Glenbrook stations after a few detours to admire the views from the several lookout in the area.
