'Tis a narrow viewing point to capture this Trig ...

11-Jan-12
This one isnt far from me Smile

24-Jul-11
Very hard to see when the top is missing. A strange man was parked next to the water tank. He claimed his wife had lost her mobile phone in the area. I walked off and let him talk to Webby, while I searched for the trig. Spotted the base in the end. Quiet spot.

24-Jan-11
A tough trig to get a view of, and having no top on it made it harder. yes, best view seems to be from Elizabeth Road

13-Jan-11
Now that I've been here I see what the previous loggers mean, it is really hard to spot this one with the missing top. We went up & down Elizabeth St a few times & took pictures from a few locations. You can see a little better when you are there to what actually shows in the pictures.

Also saw a beautifully painted bus shelter just down the road, but people were in it waiting for a bus, and I thought it would a bit rude to take pictures while they were in there Very Happy .

04-Dec-10
I arrived at the "Trig Station" and no matter how hard I looked and from which ever angle, there was no "Trig" to be seen.

After coming back home and reading a few of the previous logs, I now know I am not going mad!! Embarassed Just the top part of the trig is missing!!

I did like the art work on the reservoir.

Tks .... GazMag

I was a bit concerned when I arrived at the reservoir because I'd forgotten that the upper part of the trig was gone, and that I was only looking for the base. I travelled right round the whole reservoir, searching from all sides. I enjoyed the 'urban art' painted around the bottom. Anyhow, I took lots of photos and the attached is one of my best. On the same trip down from Leura I logged the Emu Plains Reservoir as well, so it was a good day for trigs! I gave this one 'Three Thumbs Up' for the interesting artwork.

22-Nov-10
I found this one while waiting for the youngest to finish at Cub Scouts.

21-Nov-10
Found this Trig Station on the way to do some Geocaching. You can just see the Trig base to the right of the microwave dish.
