Description
A Trig Point is a virtual cache which requires a cacher to locate the Trigonometric Station at GZ.
A trig point (also known as a Trigonometric Station) typically consists of a black disc on top of four metal legs or concrete pillar, resembling a navigation beacon.
To log a find on the Geocaching Australia website, you will need to include a picture of the trig point, along with your GPS receiver and (preferably) yourself. Long distance / telephoto type pictures are against the spirit of this cache. You are encouraged to leave a description of your journey in your log to help others in finding the trig point.
Please respect local laws and regulations when searching for trig points. If you believe that a trig point is located on private property or in a dangerous location, you may archive the cache, by clicking on Log this Cache and place an "Archived" log on the Geocaching Australia website.

Enter track to trig from highway at S35° 47.069 E148° 30.482. Then either walk or drive to the gate, which is about half way to the trig; after which it's a short up and then mostly a flat walk to the trig. Not hard :).
Logs
This trig had a couple of ineligible signatures on the vanes, the name stamped into it, and an arrow stamped into one fo the vanes. I only found out recently that those arrows signify government property, like the arrows on convict uniforms back in the day. Well there you go.
I got a couple of shots for GCA including a selfie with a geo-halo over my head. haha.
It is nice to climb high peaks without danger of falling off rocks.
Thanks GCA for this great cache series.
