I have seen this trig many times before, but I am usually driving or forget about it untill we are well past. Today WaywardWoman was driving so I told her I needed to do this one. A quick photo and headed on. TFTT

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1338. Found during a work trip up to the Penrith region.
Another work trip up to the Penrith Region, and this time I decided to mainly concentrate on GCA Caches - and again mainly trigs. Early starts means early finishes which gives me some time to drive around collecting the trigs on my target list. Today unfortunately it was quite wet - lots of rain about. However that didn't stop me and once I hit the road it didn't take to long to get to the next stop. Once near the trig of course it was a quick stop for the required photos, then it was off to the next one. Photo of the trig and watertank attached. I do like these red ones !
Another nice trig to add to the collection. Really enjoy finding these in all sorts of odd places, including the new CORS type which seem to be popping up in every country town plus the big cities.

#GA1306 - 13:15; Day 3 of a caching mission in and around Sydney with Sol de lune. Made our way in through the industrial estate, which is fairly new by the looks of it and rather huge. Parked beside the road and took the usual longer range snap of the trig on the tank. TFTC Geocaching Australia

The sixth of six finds (GC & GA caches) as I made a Jaunt through Mount Druitt and surrounds.
I stopped nearby and took the photo from the road. Trig is on top of a tank in he photo it can be seen in the back ground.
My second trig with over 12 months since the last log

Back in Sydney for another run around the traps and now out in Blacktown. Photo grabbed and all was good.

Today I found myself working at a large warehouse, which may or may not have been the one rogerw3 saw the air conditioner units being dropped onto the roof by helicopter. But from the driveway up the side I wasn't that far from it, and could get a photo of the trig on top albeit I only had the iPhone with me, the zoom on the good camera would have worked much better. Still it's a find, then went out to catch a few other GC ones in the area before heading home. Saturday overtime, got to love or hate it.
Had to dodge the trees to actually see the trig, but still it's a different angle from the north west that probably a lot of people won't be able to get. Actually thinking about it I could have got on the roof of the building with the other guy and got a picture from much higher. Oh well, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

A bit hard to find a good spot for a good pic, but once that was found all was good, except for a truck ruining my pics.

Hard to get close to this one but after I grabbed a nearby Wonderland GC cache I headed up the road and parked near the substation which is obscuring the best shot. Found a little rise and got a photo. I'd spotted this one from the M7 years ago and finally managed to get here today.
Taken in the early morning just at sunrise, was able to see it from Wonderland Drive but unable to get any closer, the area is fenced off now, thanks.

Attempted to sight this trig after finding the nearby wonderful wonderland caches. Can see it from multiple locations but a little difficult to find one with a clear view to it. Found it finally!
This one was the point of my leisurely walk from Rooty Hills station, after spending some time walking all around the area, I settled for this shot from close to the tank. Nice trig, the usual steel tube frame with mast and vanes over the steel post. Could do with a spot of paint but still worth the effort.
Spent some time watching the helicopter going back and forth placing air conditioning units on the roof of the brand new humongous warehouse next to the tanks.

Stopped by here at about 5.30pm, didn't have much time to spot the trig & take the picture with darkness rapidly descending. But I managed it!
Found at 5:00pm on a drive up to watch the Mariners play.
I wish Wonderland was still there!

I stopped at the end of Wonderland Drive and took my required photo. I could see the trig very clearly on the top of the reservoir and wasn't sure I wanted to drive around through the mine area in order to get only a little bit closer. My iPhone photo makes the distance look greater. I'm not sure why this trig hasn't been logged earlier. It's easy to find and easy to see. Anyhow, am delighted to get another trig . . .
