I was trying to find the way to another trig when I spotted this one. A good sealed path to where this can be photographed from. TFTC.

Did the short walk to this 1 – a nice evening walk completed. The trees have grown around the reservoir & it is making it hard to get a clear shot. Walked a little around the back to take the shots as the tree from the front is half covering the trig now. The dogs next door had a good barking session & the sheep were very friendly too.

Next stop on my walk around was at this trig after parking my car at Lizard Log. A nice walk through the various tracks brought me to the front gate of the property when the owners got back then saw the track that I needed to get to the trig. Got barked at by 2 of the 3 dogs next door I guess the 3rd couldn't be bothered. Got the required shot of the trig from the gate. Thanks for the trig. I think I made this higher than the 1 terrain

An easy one to get to. Parked at the start of the Parklands track on Border Rd. TFTT.

#GA421 - 16:05; I suggested to Sol de lune some time back that we should do a day run to Sydney to pick up some of the GCA trigs and caches on offer. A couple of weeks ago we identified an opportunity timing wise and so it was that we made our way north today, collecting a total of 32 trigs for the day. After a drive around SIEC, we headed up the hill. Nearly took the driveway to the house next door, but beat a hasty retreat and found a convenient park near the entry to the path. Headed along the path and saw heaps of kelpie dogs on the property next door, so glad we didn't get too close there. Managed to spot the trig and took the shots before we were on our way again. A day trip planned with LuckyL10n to start grabbing a few trigs in different areas of Sydney. Hit Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown today...and grabbed a total of 32. Back in a couple of months for another go.
Only one barking dog roger3w....reckon we had 6!!. No chance of stealth here.... However no problems walking up the path towards GZ and we soon had the required photos.
Cerberus will rule here.

First approach and it was up the private driveway to the 'gate' ... a couple of dodgy pics taken, and it was on to Horsley Park trig nearby. On the way back to Walgrove Road a cycleway was sighted. Parallel to the driveway and but a few metres away, it proved an easy walk up the hill to capture the stand and vanes atop the reservoir.

working nearby on the m7 bikeway,I had enough time to wander up here and grab a shot I love the street on a brilliant sunny morning.
Trig number 1 of today's Trig hunt with pjmpjm.
The side track to the reservoir was an easy find, so we parked there a walked the short distance to the top of the small hill. The Trig is easily visible and photos are no problem. You can see remnants of red paint on the vanes.
Nice Trig in a lovely park, if you ignore the barking dog nearby!

First find of the day's trig hunting expedition with rogerw3.
I think we took the same route as Yurt, off Wallgrove Road, and then drove in until we got to the gate, where there's a private home (with dogs) next door. Why is there a private home in the middle of a Regional Park?
Anyhow, we walked up the public trail and got close enough to the reservoir for good photos of the trig.

First day back at work and we had to do a job on the tower down here. Not the wimpy one next to the water tank/trig but the big one. Waiting for my co worker was told he was held up by an hour so went for a stroll to grab this trigpoint while waiting.
Unfortunately the iPhone came out a bit out of focus at arms length while photographing the trig, but anyway here it is.

We had a nice gently stroll down to this one for another water tower Trig Station.
Spotted this one some time ago when driving along the M7. Shortly afterwards it was published and today we tried to find it on our way back from the bush. There's a road up to it to the right of Walgrove Rd that goes back under the M7 but the gates are locked so you have to go towards the Equestrian Centre and into the Western Sydney Regional Park (which I'd never heard of) and follow your GPSr to the tower and water tank. You have to walk the last few hundred metres. There's a house and barking dog nearby but you can go right up to the gate to get the photo. Fairfield West Reservoir is the name of the storage. Looks like the trig was red and then painted black at some stage.
Note that Horsley Park trig is in the same park.
