On my way to visit West Head this morning I spotted the water tank as I turned onto McCarrs Creek Rd, so on my way back stopped and snapped the picture. Very Happy

Out in a field trip, I didn’t think I’d be able to get close enough to this to grab. But as luck would have it, that black circle appeared out the window.

#GA2612 - 13:15; Day one of the 2018 Oz Geomuster mission with Sol de lune. Today was planned to be an easy day travelling to the Mega site in Morisset via a few dragonZones in the Sydney metropolitan region before getting amongst the Easter traffic heading north along the freeway. After our first stop in Balgowlah, the GPSr had us headed out along a different route than we had originally planned. After collected four 'bonus' trigs, we were now back on track along our planned route when we stopped off to grab some snaps of this trig. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day one of an Easter trip with LuckyL10n to the 2018 Morisset Mega. Headed up via the northern beach suburbs of Sydney to grab a few trigs and dragonZones along the way.

No problems with this one and the trig was soon spotted.

Another trig and another dragonZone crossed off. Thanks for the fun....

Today I visited 6 trigs collecting over 13 years of unloved days. This was the fifth. I was actually on my home when I spotted this and couldn't resist stopping. Nowhere near as exciting as a cairn that you have to bush bash to...

09-Jul-17
Saw this while I was looking for another nearby cache.

14-Jun-17
Stopped and got this on the way out from my West Head adventure. I don't know why but the little water tower amuses me.

I've driven past here many times. Today I stopped for an easily found trig. Found at 12:32 pm.

26-May-13
Met up with the family at the nearby tennis courts on the way to Cottage Point for a lovely lunch, needing 2 cars due to a tip visit, and noticed the trig here. After lunch they dropped me off, and while looking for the nearby GC cache (unsuccessfully, sigh), got another perspective. TFTT

LATE LOGGING - 10/1/14, of 'maybe a FTF' Doh Initially Found this trig Monday, 17th October, 1983, one of 17 found. Back down to Sydney from Taree to get a few caches to help raise my D/T averages and was finding a cache just over the road when I noticed this trig that I had a photo of almost 30 years ago. But with those photos having been thrown out in the 1990's I grabbed the camera and took a few more.
Will have to come back and re-photograph the other trigs that I have found years ago.

28-Dec-12
Would be a great view from the top

23-Aug-12
Visiting the nearby IGA store for work, and dropped in here for a quick stop.

Trig Station number 4 for the day with pjmpjm doing the driving duties. Nice red painted beacon right on top of the reservoir tower. No problem finding this one.

Quickly drove through Terrey Hills while on business, and hardly had to leave the air conditioned GeoBuru for more than a minute to snap a shot of or two of this one!

It's very easy to park right alongside Yulong Avenue and there's an excellent view of the trigpoint from there.

Two reservoirs sit side-by-side and the trig is on top of the smallest and highest.

Wish I had had the chance to go after the two nearby trigs but work called. Will be back to the area on another day.

24-Jan-11
Dropped by on the way back from a job this afternoon to grab the happy snap of this, using the phone.

I spotted another trig at Elanora Heights on a water tower as well today while on the job, but despite a drive around it looks like that one isn't accessible except through private property.

20-Jan-11
Dropped by today on our search for old unlogged trigs. This one had been recently published but unfound - until yesterday! We'd driven past last weekend and spotted it but didn't stop. This time we parked in the street and the restaurant car park was a good spot to take the photos.

On a historical note the original trig in the area was across Mona Vale Road from here and named 'Pittwater' - this trig would have replaced it. There may still be remnants of the old trig somewhere but without accurate coordinates it would be difficult to locate.

I was passing on the way to & from a job today and remembered this trig was witing for a find, so grabbed a piccie on the phone (thus the reason it is not a really good photo).
At least this trig point is easy to see, and brightly coloured, ublike most of them.
