That's one steep little driveway...with some nice views when you turn back to the car.

#GA712 - 15:30; I was down in the Gong for the day for a meeting and after the formalities were over, dropped by to grab a few caches I had missed on my last visit a month or so back with Sol de lune. This trig took a little bit of work to locate the best vantage point. It is best approached via the access track at the end of Walang Avenue. Despite the gate and the signs, the tracks indicate that the locals don't seem to be too worried about using the track, so neither was I. It was nice to bag this trig after more than 3 years unloved. I had it in mind for a while to get down to Wollongong (from Lithgow by train and walk there) to do Little Nebo and Nebo Trigs.
Today was the day, got to the reservoir where there were workers from Sydney Water, but they did not care about me taking photos, these Hi-vis vest really do make you invisible!
Great view of the trig from above the reservoir.

Found with McPhan and fitzy during our weekend run through Wollongong.
A fence and a locked gate stopped us getting any closer, so it's in the distance, but it is there.
(Apologies for the original blank log, not sure what happened...)

463. Got as close as we could and snapped the shot. It's pretty small but it is there.

Relied on my Nuvi to get me here & after turning L & R a million times got reasonably close only to discover that the camera's batteries were flat. Blame my daughter who went skydiving today with me clicking away. Only GCA caches today.

Indeed good views from terrie place, but not today, with heavy rains and fog coming down the moiuntain it was hardly visible!

Was cruising around these streets waiting for a muggle to move on before hunting a nearby gc.com cache. As I was waiting, I look up and says "hey, that's a trig point on the water tower on the hill". Funny as I have been around here a few times and never noticed. Shame that Sydney Water put up all the scary "No Trespassing" signs as there is a nice driveway to walk right up to the tower. Nonetheless, the trig can be observed from below.
