Thanks for sharing this interesting location.
Staying in Manly area for a week or so. Out and about caching and taking photos for the day. House sitting here in this beautiful part of the state. Always a great way to explore areas. Lovin' life, coffees and caches, waymarks and photos letting my GPS be my guide. Does it get any better than travelling this great land of ours? It's amazing to see the country in the eyes of a Geocacher.
Thanks for the Trig Point. Appreciate you highlighting this area and bringing me here.

Travelling around Greater Sydney collecting LGAs and this is for another. I used to see this when we drove past as a kid about 65 years ago. TFTT Geocaching Australia.
Found on our yearly get-together with ex-Comalco friends nr Mona Vale. I have seen the Bahai Temple lots of times over the years but didnt realise it was a Trig until today! Took the photo from the road as there were lots of people there. The yellow in the garden in the driveway gave the temple a very picturesque look. TFTT

#GA2614 - 13:30; Day one of the 2018 Oz Geomuster mission with Sol de lune. Today was planned to be an easy day travelling to the Mega site in Morisset via a few dragonZones in the Sydney metropolitan region before getting amongst the Easter traffic heading north along the freeway. After our first stop in Balgowlah, the GPSr had us headed out along a different route than we had originally planned. After collected four 'bonus' trigs, we were now back on track along our planned route. After visiting the nearby rock cairn trig, we stopped off to grab some snaps of this trig/temple as we headed back out. TFTT Geocaching Australia

Day one of an Easter trip with LuckyL10n to the 2018 Morisset Mega. Headed up via the northern beach suburbs of Sydney to grab a few trigs and dragonZones along the way.
No problems with this one and the trig was soon spotted...not that you could the temple.
Another trig and another dragonZone crossed off. Thanks for the fun....

I haven't been here since 1994, when I was invited to attend a service. Lovely building.

I am pretty sure that I did a photo back in December, 1983 of the Baha'i Temple, the day that I found Addison cairn. But at that stage I was aware that the spire is a Passive trig.
Stopped by today to get a couple of photos. At 1012, while on a circuitous route to Kirribilli for a school reunion.

Forth of five trigs found today, all in Ingleside. I've driven past the temple countless times and its been visible from so many locations, but today is the closest I've got to it.
You can see the Temple from so far away it makes a great trig station. Found at 1:01 pm.
It certainly stands out this one. I did the traditional cache that is/was here a few years ago. A nice easy photo from the carpark.
This would have to be one of the most widely visible trig in the world! You can see the Bahai Temple from so many places around northern Sydney.
Does this still really qualify as a trig?
The disc appears to have vanished, like the nearby cairn base one.

Found without trouble even if it was almost dark, it only added to the spiritual ambiance. the very top of this great building is the trig. Almost no light left but got kind of a picture!

Found together with rogerw3 at the end of a day of trig hunting in the Palm Beach area.
We arrived at the Bahai Temple outer car park at dusk and enjoyed the remnants of the sunset, silhouetting the wonderful dome and top spire.
The NSW Department of Lands has designed the spire TS879 so it's a genuine and bonafide trig despite its lovely spiritual appearance.
This whole area is well worth a visit. Everyone has probably seen the landmark Temple from afar, but it's even better up close.
'Three Thumbs Up' for the great architecture and peaceful surroundings.

Came to find the nearby Addison trig and while here I took shots of the Bahai Temple which is an obvious trig position although it doesn't exactly look like a trig. Still there's a few church spire trigs so why not this one? You can certainly see it from a long way away. I've spotted it from Wahroonga (near Cook trig) and also up on the Central Coast.
Grabbed a couple of shots from the road that runs to the "staff only" driveway. Sun was bad at the time but it will do.
