Logs
After a day out at the nearby waterslide park, we shot out before dinner for some trigs. Blacktown was trickier to drive around than we thought! We managed this one, couldn't spot the nearby CORS though.
Out caching with WaywardWoman this morning, and as we were at Blacktown, I went for a walk to look for this. I walked around the block and took one from the back, and as we drove near there later, I took one from the car from a different angle. TFTT

Out on a trig run around Blacktown. Drove up to the top of the car park to grab this image.

Found with geodad and lachnic...on a really hot day!

I saw the Westfield shopping centre and drove to the top floor of the carpark to take a photograph of the trig. The trig is easy to see from up there. Three hours free parking too. I am surprised more haven't gone up there to photograph the trig. TFTC.

I was in Blacktown today & could just see this one from Kmart car park.

A neat area to stop for lunch...and to grab a photo from the car park. A little distance shot, then a close up.

I was working in the area at our warehouse at Arndell Park today, so once we finished figured I might as well get some caches rather than go back to the office in town where I would only have been for an hour or so before it was time to head home. So why not go caching as I can work just as well from home for most of what I need to do? And after finding 3 GC caches I thought I would log a couple of local TPs for the current Dragonzone game.
I have been here before for a photo course but never got a pic of the trig, but it was quite visible from the K-Mart carpark over the road today. Unluckily the iPhone photo isn't that good. But still another trig off the list.

spotted the trig after going to Medieval Fayre part of the Blacktown Festival. Thanks for the Trig
I was in Blacktown today to meet my guardian angel and he showed me this trig, so of course I had to log it.

Was grabbing some chicken at El Jannah in Blacktown and took a few pics of this one while I was there
I can see this trig clearly from my sis in laws apartment. But today, I got a few street photos from in the CBD on Blacktown.
Found by Geoson on 1 April 2012 whilst shoppong at K-Mart, sorry for the delay logging

I was not sure what to expect, but the Trig is very visible even if somewhat obscured by an amazing array of antennas, dishes and whatnots!
It does look a bit worse for wear but it is there.

In its wisdom, the NSW Department of Lands officially designated the top of the Blacktown Council Building as TS10985. (This was probably decided a great many years ago.) So, of course, I had to drive down to Blacktown and see what there was to see . . .
It was already dark when I reached the busy Blacktown CBD, on my way between Dural and the Blue Mountains, but I could easily see the edge of the roof several stories up, and lots of interesting 'equipment' positioned there.
Which was the trig? Was it visible at all? Well, I just photographed everything! And I'm also uploading a 'Nearmap' aerial photo of the entire roof, looking down.
This wasn't as much fun as some of the trig hunting expeditions that rogerw3 and I have undertaken recently, but -- a trig is a trig and must be investigated and logged whenever possible.
I'll leave it to my colleages to comment further on this one.
