This replaces the Trig point of the same name TS10144, described as "Brass triangle on roof, no beacon".

I was running nearby and decided to pass by while in the area. I wish I had my drone with me, but that wouldn't really be appropriate even outside these locked-down times. TFTT

Found while on a visit to Macquarie University

11-Jun-17
I could not get a view of the actual trig, but got a view of the part that hides it.

22-Jan-17
It's a bit hard to get a clear shot of the roof of the building, but anyway I parked out the back and got a photo of the building itself. Not quite sure how to spot what is up there. But it matches a need for the Summer Scavenge Series.

#GA756 - 14:30; Sol de lune and I had decided that double points month made a flying day trip to Sydney to grab some more trigs and perhaps a GeGnome or two a worthwhile adventure. An itinerary was hastily prepared and today was to be the day. We had completed our mission at Rookwood, after grabbing a couple of bonus caches in Bankstown on the way past. It was now off further north into uncharted waters for us to see what was available. Made our way to GZ where we wandered for some time, taking a few snaps and hoping the trig is in the final product! TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day trip to Sydney with LuckyL10n to bust free a few GeGnomes and snare a few more Trigs...

Bit of trouble with this one...but you can just see the top it/something....I think. TFTT

Stop by this interesting trig while in the area. I thought the iPhone camera would not be able to do this one justice, so grabbed a close up shot. Hope it ticks the boxes.

30-Dec-13
I spotted it from the road down from Fortenoy Park, also from the back of the building. Photo is from the former position - this is an iPhone 3GS on max zoom - the resolution is not really adequate.

17-Oct-12
On a trig run in the area to clean up a few this afternoon. Had to back WAY back to just spy the pole on top of the building and get a photo (just) with the dodgy zoom on the phone.

04-Jun-12
I finally decided to have a look for this Trig, after all I had been meaning to do this one for quite a long time.
No problem finding the right angle, from the back of the building the top of the steel post and plate is clearly visible.

Got this one while my son was warming up for his soccer match.

13-Jun-11
Well I think we found it but I'm not sure what it is. Saw the post at the front but couldn't spot anything else likely. Not much of a trig whatever happens.

07-Jun-11
I pulled up near the published coordinates on Kartoum Road and found only, well . . . an ordinary apartment building!

Reading the notes from rogerw3 I could see that this was the site of an official NSW Department of Lands TS No. 10891, and that it had even been renewed in the past 25 years.

So where was it?

I circumnavigated the building on foot and saw two possibilities, which I photographed and will upload. One could be the stump (or possibly the top) of the trig support. The other shows some kind of space-age 'cap' that defies my further description. I'm pretty sure one of these must be the trig, or part of the trig, because this roof top is exactly where the coordinates point.

There's a nearly hidden little shop -- a general store -- right near the base of the building -- very handy.

'Three Thumbs Up' for the mystery and the little shop.

Thought I'd try this Trig closest to my work. Pulled up and it looks to be on top of the building. I made a looop around and managed to see what I believe to the the tip of the vane (hope so) high up. Got the photos and left for work.
