On a caching run out into the eastern suburbs to get some trigs haven't got to before this was one of the ones we spotted. Photo taken this is taken as part of the 2018 to 2019 Summer Games.

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.

This was a quick stop for the shot. You don't see many trigs on top of apartment blocks.

Not many places for a photo. Will have to share the shot with Zonic. Apparently, my great grandfather used to live in that block of flats.

Busy road on a Sunday. Parked down the road and took a while to get a chance to drive off. My grandfather used to live in that building in the 1970s.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1185 - 11856 overall cache finds.

Found during a work visit to Sydney. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especialy the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !

The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted.

Thanks Geocaching Australia !

A nice quick one on the drive home from a work job, but with only the iPhone to photo it isn't great quality. After parking had to cross the road and walk back a bit towards the city to get the shot.

Another day run to the big smoke with LuckyL10n....mainly for him to visit a friend in RNS, but after visiting hours, we hit the trail for a few caches before heading home....

Another tall building in the area and another trig. Grabbed the photo from near the shops and all was good.

#GA785 - 16:10; I had to make an unscheduled trip to Sydney to visit a mate in hospital and was able to persuade Sol de lune to provide company for the trip. Once visiting hours were over we decided to visit an area relatively unexplored by us before heading for home. We had completed our mission in Mosman and with time on our side, headed over to North Sydney. We found a good spot in Parraween Street where we could park and take a short stroll to get a nice shot of the trig. TFTT Geocaching Australia ClappingClan Cerberus

Dragon Zone is just what I needed to get back into some trig hunting! Tricky to get a shot of this one but had driven past it for months on route to work. Finally stopped to get a pic!

I have had this Trig and a couple others in this area on my to do list for a while and today was the day.
I expected to have to walk around the building to find the best vantage point, but there it was waiting for me to take the photos.
Looks in good condition I just wonder if it has a name plaque too bad we can't get up there.

Heading home from a job at Manly I was able to see this trig from Military Rd, and being a sunday was able to stop and take a pic.
I would think this is hard to see from most angles due to so many tall buildings here now.

More fading light and I could see this driving along Military Road, but I couldn't stop. So I drove around and finally found a place to take the picture. Almost darkness. Hope It's still seeable Pray
