I was looking to start my journey as part of the "journey or destination" game so decided on a couple of park and snaps of some local trig points I had not yet found. This was the first stop. I have passed this place many times before and had actually stopped to try and snap this about six months ago except back then a worker was on top of the tower performing some maintenance work. Today the coast was clear and I got some nice pics of the tower and trig in the bright sunshine of the day. Required photos attached.
Thanks for the trig Geocaching Australia.
The journey has begun....

#GA2259 - 12:10; After a few days in Sydney with the geohoney and a couple of the in-laws, the time had come to head for home again. This was the third stop on what proved to be a poorly planned route out of town, which meant I had to back track to collect this and another trig which should have been numbers one on the list Brick Wall Anyway, made it to GZ in the end and grabbed the snaps for the find. Heading to Sydney today for a doctors appointment so started early to grab a few trigs. Managed 10 for the day. This one was number seven. Wasn't sure I'd make it to this one but glad that I did....what a gorgeous old water tank. Time to head over to the Dr now. More caching later for me.

Out with teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC we came for this trig. There were a lot of cars nearby but found a spot which meant a longer walk to get a view of the trig. We managed to get a good view & took the mandatory photo which is attached. Thanks for the trig

On my way back from dropping GeoDirk off at his sleepover. Poles only, no circle.

23-Aug-16
Made my way up to it and looked around, but no vanes so checked past logs to see it doesn't have any. Still it's a nice high point, we have looked at using it as a repeater site for work wireless links before.

Just round the corner from me and although I'd passed this many times, I wasn't a geocacher back then!

Found with Zal..and I still didnt quite get the whole idea of a "Trig" cache but never mind...as long as it's a cache Wink and interesting too.

My face looks a bit funny in the picture with a frowning smile...eyes were still getting used to the sunny Australian sun!

While doing Steptoes nice Ducky Cache the park gives you a good vantage of the Trig Tank and you can see the Frame clearly. Pity the vanes are gone... and that our photos didnt come out too well but they are not bad! Zhaomin's second Trig. Right now I am forcing them on her hoping her OCD will eventually take over of its own accord Razz

Found this one after the GC Wolli Creek Walk event.

Sad that the vanes have gone.

However, the support framework was easy to see and photograph.

21-Jun-11
I have been past here many hundreds of times, and quite often since the trig was listed, but today I remembered to detour and had time plus camera to grsb the necessary pic.
Not far from a cache of my own.

Second find of the day, a rather old Trig this one, but still in reasonable condition, even if the vanes have gone.
An easy one to photograph from the street.
