A nice walk around on a warmish day – this 1 turned out to be the hardest trig to take photos off - nice to complete - thanks

10-Jul-22
Out caching with ziggiau and aubeasty

I missed it the first time as I was looking for a white pillar!

15-Dec-18
Found on a trip to Sydney with Joolay and Smittengranny to pick up some old caches - picked some trigs up along the way too. Lovely old trigs - TFTC

18-Jul-18
Found this easily enough. The faint trails running through this section of bush get very close to it. Thanks

We were staying at the Q Station for the weekend, so I just had to check out these trigs. A nice little wander and some great views

07-Jan-18
GCA 1896. Found during a run up to Sydney for some rarer GC caches plus any trigs along the way.

Next and last trig of the trip. Eventually found the hidden trig, then hit the road to head home.

TFTC !!

07-Jan-18
Headed to Sydney with fitzy_1965 for a weekend away to grab some rarer GC caches and as many trigs as we could.

This one was well hidden but eventually made the find on a super hot afternoon

#GA950 - 07:35; I was back in the big smoke with the geohoney for an annual celebration which just happens to coincide with the Vivid Festival. We were staying at the nearby accommodation, so an early morning styroll was in order to try to collect a few caches. This was the first of four trigs for the morning run and not too hard once I found the right track. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Moved on from the Quarantine Trig to this one along a over grown track. Number 3 so far today.

29-Jun-15
took a reasonable walk to get to this one through the scrub on slightly overgrown tracks eventually got to the spot very isolated here.

This one is looking a little sad.

20-Apr-14
A nice old-fashioned trig - nothing fancy. Found at 8:40 am.

03-Nov-13
After Quarantine we continued along the track coming to a fence around a set of abandoned military buildings. Found a way round and had a look inside. There's some amazing stuff in one of the sheds including a 18-19th century cannon and a vintage military truck plus figurines. Circling round we finally got to GZ to see a 'normal' trig. No plaque but nice to see vanes and a wooden mast.

07-Jul-13
Last trig for the day. Pretty successful outing even if I didn't get all the things I wanted to do done. I did cap all the North Head trigs which was good. A trig that looks like a trig... who'dve thought!

08-Jul-12
Found with blossom* in the bushes!

08-Jul-12
This was quite easy to spot as the track luckily took us to it and the top was still visible above the bushes!

20-May-12
556. Decided that I could short cut to this one. Big mistake. The rain hadn't lasted long but it certainly dropped a fair bit of water. Got drenched from the waist down while pushing through the undergrowth on the overgrown track I was following. Eventually found it and then popped out onto the road that I should have taken all the way.

TFTT and the nose.

A welcome find, even if almost completely surrounded by vegetation. The steel tube tripod is intact with the wooden mast and vanes.
It is pretty rare to find these with the wooden mast still intact, they tend to fall victim to bush fires.
A couple more years and this one will be all but invisible.

While in Manly for a gig, I was able to do the Gunners walk and find a few trigs and traditional caches.
Well worth the visit to see what this spot was like and how it is now.

12-Jul-11
We found this a short distance from the listed co-ordinates and not on a roof as suggested. It may have been moved!?!

Listing updated.
