Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1069 - 10533 overall cache finds.
Found during a run up to the big Lane Cove Event with Sol de Lune, Toy Hunters and LuckyL10n when we decided to grab a bunch of trigs as well. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especialy the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted.
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA492 - 13:15; The day had arrived and it was up at sparrows to join toyhunters, fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune for a trip to Sydney for the 'Let's Party - Come Celebrate Australia's First' Event. After the early start we were approaching the venue in plenty of time, we grabbed three trigs on the way in. The event was drawing to a close, so our intrepid band headed off, but had allowed time for a few more finds on the way home, including this one. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Found with Sol de Lune, fitzy_1965 and LuckyL10n on our trip to Lane Cove for the birthday event. A lovely trig in a great area, to stop for a quick rest and stretch. TFTC GCA!

A little harder to grab than others today, however the high ground made all the difference and the photo was snapped....

Hmmm tricky bugger. Without Rog's photo I would have had no idea what to look for here as the trig is not obvious. Run around the building until I came up with an angle to just spy the little Leica.

I had my doubts about this one, none of the photos from previous finders looked right, however I knew what the Leica Spigot looked like so I knew what to look for.
Sure enough on the vented frame surrounding the cooling vents for the air conditioning near the corner there it was, you need to insert the spigot into a Leica Quick release adapter to mount your instruments on it.
No doubt this time right where expected and the right shape as well.

I intended to come here today to purchase a couple of items, other times I completed caches nearby, today I completed this trig, well I have taken photos of air conditioning plant but I was unable to make out spigot, just being honest, thanks.
Not really sure if this should count as a find, or even if this cache is findable, but I'll let a local make that call. In the meantime, like others... here's my photo of the building!
Know the building, so pulled up across the road and took some pictures. The PGSr shows the distance to the 'Trig' so it looks very close. Up there on the roof, I guess.

Like others I know the HT building well; couldn't find anything likely on top but took a photo anyway
I photographed the Harris Technology building from three signs and had a good look around the grassy area between the car park and the bus stop on Epping Road.
The coordinates seem to indicate that the trig would be towards the back of the building, on the opposite side from the car park.
So I looked carefully on this side (from the car park of the neighbouring building).
It's hard to be sure that that one of the anomalies is actually the trig -- or the remains of the trig.
I'm going to ask rogerw3 for his opinion.
Nevertheless -- like the earlier 'finders' -- I was well and truly at the site listed by the NSW Department of Lands . . .

I could see a short "spigot" of metal sticking up from the air conditioner unit. Does the little white thing on the right look promising?
This is a tentative FTF. I say tentative because I have never looked for a trig point before. However what I found was a substantial metal object very well fastened to a solid buried base that pretty much fits the description. I'll post a photo (if I can figure out how) so that trig point experts can tell me whether I am right or wrong (it will of course be a spoiler, so don't look if you don't want to see!). It was within 5m of the expected location.
Note that this is in an area well covered by security cameras and I reckon that you run the risk of having the police called. I went into the store and asked permission to nose around. They thought I was very odd, but they agreed in a friendly enough manner.

I also have had two looks (at night) for this one. Had a good wander around the building without luck.
Was down this way today and circled the Harris Technology building looking for signs of a trig. Didn't have the description with me so wasn't sure what we were looking for. However saw nothing that looked vaguely trig-like. Took some photos from Epping Rd where you can see the roof but nothing of note there that I can see.
Edited to claim a find as everyone else seems to be.
