Set up as a steel pillar on a concrete pad without mast or vanes. Unfortunately the salt spray has corroded the steel to the point that it will not last much longer.
Logs
Found during a nice walk along the headland this morning. TFTTP

Only the four bolts in the concrete pad that supported the steel pole remain. Found while on a maintenance run for GC caches.

Found the marker on the ground rather than the pole- by accident actually as we were walking around the headland doing some other caches. Fantastic location.

it has been quite a few years since the pole has been seen. I think I found the spot where it once was, and then there was the State Survey Marker, which I assume has replaced the pole.

I went on to find the two trigs here after doing the shipwreck cache nearby. Strong wind today let you feel the force of nature.
The iron rod is definatly gone now, there is hardly anything left at the trigside you can just about make out were it most likly used to be and that is fairy close to the edge to (at least on a strong windy day from an Southwest direkt it seems dangerously close .
Anyhow attached is a picture looking from the position of the trig point over to the other trig.

Third day of trigging, another 12km walk 1 of 4 finds. My first find, glad to see this one is still there but I guess not for much longer the salt spray is doing its work on the steel.
The view is quite breathtaking over the ocean specially in the overcast and drizzling conditions.
