Stopped in for a look while on our way back to the hotel. It's been years since I've been to Sydney so it's nice to get a few smileys.
making the most of the free train travel during the school holidays, my daughters and I made this find while caching around Sydney

It's down there. Seriously, you can check it out in the attached picture. As we only have lat and lon and no elevation check, this is possible a cheat, but there it is
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this TrigPoint here today.

Going through some old photos and found this taken at the south pylon with the trig just visible in the corner. Hope this meets the requirements.

Satying a weekend in the city, so why not go for a wander and collect a couple of trigs. it also feels so good to be back out in the city again it feels like it's been a while. defiantly been to tris spot before as its another one of my favourite in the city. was excited to be back again and to find a trig!!! so after a bit of a search it was happily discovered. and photographed but I had to admit it did take us a moment to find the correct corner.

Staying the weekend in the city, so thought I would try and get a few of the trigs and caches around the place. we have been here many times and never noticed this little trig tucked into the corner of the tower. quick and easy find once we were onsite. We thought for a moment that it might be on top of the tower and were disappointed as its still closed due to Covid.

In the city for a meeting and wandered up to GZ as we had some spare time . Luckily it wasn't to busy or crowded and we had the opportunity to quickly grab a photo as we passed by. Thanks for bringing us here.
In Sydney for a couple of days snapped this one on a walk around the area
Many thanks Geocaching Australia for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Today the Family went for a harbor tour with the Tas5 visitors. Fast ferries, beautiful views, lots of sun on a nice day and a number of great caches were found in the vicinity between Circular Quay and Darling Harbor.
Walked over from another trig, passed the OPT and around to this one. Funny how it looks the same as the north side one. Found that one a few years ago, but no idea why I've missed this one for so long. Anyway, photo in the bag now...
Great area to walk around, thanks for another trig...

Had a few hours to kill between trains in Sydney today so decided to cache my time away. This was one of them, and the last GCA cache for the day. I was hoping to find the nearby engineering markers too but was out of time to go off track. I had a deadline to be at my train on time. I walked from the Theatre precinct, under the bridge through part of the rocks and on to circular quay. I was hoping to find the engineering markers on that line of attack, but no. Got this trig though.
whilst walking around town this morning I stopped here for a happy snap

I actually dropped by here last night but went to the wrong GZ. With a bit more info, I came back today and got the appropriate pickies at 15:00. Not to worry, it's a spot that deserves visits both night and day.
Thanks Geocaching Australia.

My daily commute comes past this spot and every time I curse this unfound icon so today it was time to fix it. Now for the markers nearby!

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1193 - 12036 overall cache finds.
Found while wandering around Sydney during a work visit. With a few hours up my sleeve I went for a walk gathering a few GC and GCA caches. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especially the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted. Now I just need to get its twin over there !
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

Out and about today in the city so decided to visit the Harbour Bridge and pick up the north and south pylon trigs. Always nice anywhere around the harbour.

While reading the other logs I was wondering if I was by accident at the wrong level, despite that the description says 7 meters. Luckily that I saw a metal pillar with on it "Survey" and know I was right.

After a return walk across the bridge, I came down here with the geo-muggle-missus to track down this trig. Enjoyed the walk down here
#GA451 - 14:50; I was in Sydney with the geohoney and we had just crossed doing the walk across the Harbour Bridge off our bucket list. I'd picked up Pylon North and a couple of others at the northern end and was still on the mission back on the southern end of the bridge. As I closed in on GZ, I spotted a suspicious couple, one of whom had a GPS! As I suspected, they were gathering information for the Sydney Harbour Bridge EarthCache. Nice to meet Team BluePearl all the way from Colorado! TFTC Geocaching Australia

Staying at the hotel less than two hundred metres from this trig point, so took a slightly different route for the evening stroll tonight and came up with this one. Fantastic views on a clear night that showed the whole area at it's best. TFTT GA!

Thanks to my very good friend (He knows who he is!) I have been introduced to Geocaching and although I am not quite getting the caching bit I am however quite taken by the trigonometric Points.
Having heard my friend go on and on about their use and value as well as their history I have decided to log a few with my friend to hold my hand for now!

This was Mrs THR's first day in Sydney. She thoroughly enjoyed the stroll around Circular Quay and looking at the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. As we walked into the park we were surprised at the number of brides having wedding photos. As we approached the bridge we wondered what this strange looking object was. Yup...a trigpoint. TFTTp GCA

Found on a short weekend trip to Sydney, to watch "The Music of Queen" at the Opera House. While doing the Earthcache, we quickly took the photo required for this one, as a diversion. Another cool and interesting looking trig. TFTC GCA!

Found this one on a walk over the bridge - something I've wanted to fo for a while now. Nice walk with a refreshing breeze. Grabbed a GC cache on my trek too. This is a trig with some wow factor!
GrimRaider and I visited Circular Quay today to take a ride on a Tall Ship and do some caching. Managed to find this Trig while wandering around the South Pylons. TFTC

On the way to Sydney for family and work commitments and just enough spare time to grab a trig or 2 on the way. Some great views on the harbour at night as always

We weren't sure if we needed to go high or low to find this one! We guessed low and got lucky!?!
I had an hour to spare between finishing working here in the city and picking up my wife - also in the city. What else is there to do in that case but to grab a few caches - and virtuals seemed to be the best option today, as I am saving the newer traditional caches for the Christmas to Feb run when I have heaps of days to complete in my caching calendar.
3rd of several for the hour.

Had to head to the SW Pylon for work this morning, so got a not very good shot of me with the safety hat sitting on the trig. Not a particularly visible point however you look at it!
The traffic was awful this afternoon, so I stopped under the brideg and did some caching:) Found this trig point on my travels.

Found the trig at the other end of the bridge, not much of an effort, it can be seen very easily. Great view from here.
