Found at 2:59pm. We had been in the area for an engagement function and stayed overnight. After finding some geocaching caches my mission was to do some of the Geocaching Australia Trigs so I dragged the girlfriend around and fortunately her phone camera worked quite well and could take my GPS/Camera/phone into the picture when needed at other times I resorted to other methods. Bit of a view here.

Headed to Sydney for a Dr appt today. Picked up a friend from Campbelltown to keep me company. Had to go find this one to give it some love.

#GA406 - 11:20; I suggested to Sol de lune some time back that we should do a day run to Sydney to pick up some of the GCA trigs and caches on offer. A couple of weeks ago we identified an opportunity timing wise and so it was that we made our way north today, collecting a total of 32 trigs for the day. This one took a little bit of getting to from the previous trig as the GPSr in the geomobile took a few more side streets than we really needed to, but we made it in the end. A day trip planned with LuckyL10n to start grabbing a few trigs in different areas of Sydney. Hit Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown today...and grabbed a total of 32. Back in a couple of months for another go.
Second of these we spotted today. Can't miss them that's for sure.
Cerberus rules here as well.

Stopped at this one on the way home. Parked in Cronulla Crescent and could see the trig from the road. The Trig is in good condition with the nameplate missing.

This trigpoint should be renamed the "Attack of the Magpie".
After not being able to find TP5967 - Fitzpatrick, I continued on my way and headed over to this TP. All was going well till I turned off Blaxland Rd onto Badgally Rd. Not far up Badgally Rd is a known Magpie location. Don't know what I did but the Magpie decided to really have a go at me today. Normally Magpies will swoop till you get away from their nesting site. Not today, this Magpie followed me along Badgally Rd and around the roundabout onto North Steyne Rd. After being swooped 8+ times I eventually had to stop not far from Cronulla Crs get off my bicycle and physically chase the Magpie away. What a trip.
Eventually made it the TP unscathed. Another spot with great views.

Michael (GPS).

Found together with rogerw3 while on an afternoon's trig hunting expedition in the area -- one of 13 trigs I logged in the space of five hours!
Minus vanes and side name plaque, it was still fun to find a new trig.
Wonder why no-one else has logged this one?
Thanks to rogerw3 for the re-discovery!

Trig number 4 of 7 for todays trigging and of 13 for pjmpjm. Another trig in a lovely well maintained park with a great view of the surrounding area.
Only the concrete pedestal is left and unfortunately the name plaque has been souvenired at some stage.
