Description
Liverpool Tech TS10622
Official name of this Trig Station as per NSW Department of Lands is: Liverpool Tech.
Serial number is: TS10622.
Last Inspected on: January 24, 1980.
Elevation is: 59 metres.
This is a Passive Trig Station, it can only be used as an aiming point, not to mount any survey instruments on top of it. it is easy to see how when this was built in 1825 this would have been the tallest structure, visible from miles around, these days it is somewhat dwarfed by modern buildings.
Logs
We spotted this trig from down on the river, whilst doing some of the GEOrges River PT.....

Completed on a Saturday arvo as there is more parking with no restrictions. A very unusual trig but a common 1 in suburban areas – thanks

Found while visiting the water play in Bigge Park. A great park to visit if you have little ones.
This is an interesting trig point, not your usual find. While in the area we had a walk around looking at the old buildings, lots of interesting history in this area.
Thanks for the trig!

GCA find #13
Found 8:12pm on my commute back to home via my parents place. Since it was the last day of the games I thought I'd find a trig of two somewhere along the way. This 'trig' were a slight detour on the way to Fairfield. Difficult taking a photo with an iPhone but used a bright torch to light up the item and pray the photo came out ok.

Found today with friends doing the driving duties I wanted to find a few more but I was outvoted.

#GA415 - 14:05; I suggested to Sol de lune some time back that we should do a day run to Sydney to pick up some of the GCA trigs and caches on offer. A couple of weeks ago we identified an opportunity timing wise and so it was that we made our way north today, collecting a total of 32 trigs for the day. We struggled to find a park, even on a Saturday, but happened on a little layover near the now defunct bowls club. Took a short stroll to grab the snaps, then on our way again. A day trip planned with LuckyL10n to start grabbing a few trigs in different areas of Sydney. Hit Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown today...and grabbed a total of 32. Back in a couple of months for another go.
Another spire and no problems.

Came past after dropping Geogirl off. Figured what the Trig point was meant to be, but only had my GPSr camera to take the photo. I see the point

An easy find when you know where you are going, this spire is somewhat obscured by trees but you can get a nice view from the car park.
