This is not a terrain 1 trig. The paths disappear regularly both on the way up and down. I was climbing over and under all manner of plant life. Not a pleasant trip...but worth it.

as others have said it's a bit scrubby for the first 10 mins of the path, and not clear where to go, then it eases up a little for the second half. Easy if you have gps and maps as the path marked matches best route. No view at the top. Good one to have ticked off

Team MavEtJu had been caching in the area just last week but this trig was still unfound by him. Seeing as there was a path marked on OSM and two others had been there before us, I figured that this would be a manageable adventure. BUT we threw ourselves at a suspected path which turned out not to be the real path. Turned around and tried again. Found something that looked more path like but it was still tough going for most of it. Just at the point where Team MavEtJu stopped to admire the view, we also spotted the trig. In remarkably good condition which made us wonder if the trig maintenance people have to draw straws to decide who will have to come out through this bush. The hard yards are worth the views.

Quick walk you'd think.
OSM shows a path you'd say.
Couldn't be too bad you'd argue.
All three are right, and all three were wrong.
The walk was about 30 minutes each way. The path was more a kangaroo path. And it was heavily overgrown.
But! But! Ziggiau and I had the opportunity to not approach it just once, we approached it twice! The first time we came to about 90 meters distance to the trig, the second approach we went the whole way.

Third trig for this afternoon. Found my way to the trig through the bush which took some time. The way back was better as there is a fairly well formed track back to the access road. Lots of black cockatoos in the bush around the trig site.

Great trig to do, just very hard to find the right track in for the last 300 meters. Once at the trig you can climb on top of it and have spectacular 360 degrees views!!
