We walked up after an early Easter lunch with the grandparents, as we will be in Alice Springs for the Mega next weekend.
I've been in town for work and got the weekend to myself. So today I decided to climb a hill. Had a great day finding the trig, a cave, and a puzzle (even though it took me ages to figure out just right).
The old trig point Has lost its pole and disks now.
When you come up here don't forget to go up the point above the cave toward the lake. You can pretty much see the whole lake from there!

Adjusted the Terrain from T1, to T3, as there is no way a civilian can get there in a wheelchair.
Had been lower down the slope of the hill back in 2012 and 2013, so it was nice to get on up and take a photo of the 'passive trig' / tower today - even if it was a bit wet.
Then went on to find 'the cave'. Also photographed the actual trig, as there is no trouble accessing the area now.

*FTF* I am going to log this cache as a FTF, as the trig isn't passive, but is very real, although a little in need of some TLC.
After doing the nearby GC22E1V Munibung View cache some time ago, I knew how and where to approach this cache.
The geomobile was placed in 4WD low range for a VERY steep and rutted drive to the top of the hill. Beware: 4WD only, and there is nowhere to turn around if you don't like it. You must go right to the top to turn around. (Now I wish I had taken some photos, but I was too busy driving!)
Anyway, I parked at the top and went for a walk along the fence line to get a photo similar or better than rogerw3, when I found an open gate a.k.a. a hole in the fence big enough to walk through.
Opportunities like that don't come everyday, so what is any GC'er to do? Go for it!!
A short walk along the road, looking for a photo spot, when I spotted the actual trig point. A bit dilapidated, but still there!
Photos taken, back along the road, through the gate/hole, to the geomobile and the descent back to civilisation.
A good afternoon.

I did the nearby adventurous riddle cache on Munibug. Wonderful Cache. and nice big reserve here, but buildings are creeping more and more up onto it
No problem finding this Passive Trig Point as it is visible from a very long way off, you can in fact get within a few meters of it while remaining outside the fence.

This Trig can be unarchived as the Tower is visible from outside the fence line and indeed from a long way off.
This is duplicate of TP2999 Munibung that was archived because it is fenced off on private property and can not be accessed lawfully.
