Only one shot of the barracks. The guard looked antsy!

We felt a bit weird taking photos of the barracks and the guard, so we got one quick one for both of us.

#GA774 - 17:00; Sol de lune and I had decided that double points month made a flying day trip to Sydney to grab some more trigs and perhaps a GeGnome or two a worthwhile adventure. An itinerary was hastily prepared and today was to be the day. We had completed a good part of the prepared itinerary, but it had been a bit ambitious, so we decided to abandon it at this stage and collect as many caches in the Willoughby and North Sydney areas before heading back across the bridge for a few more southside on the way home. We had bagged a few trigs, along with a small band of GeGnomes we were now headed towards home. Once back over the bridge, we headed for Barracks, but the security was a little tighter than we had anticipated and it was clear we weren't welcome, although the guard's daughter is a cacher and so he was quite nice about the fact we couldn't park where we had and needed to move on, so we continued on to Paddington Town Hall. After that, we managed to grab a park across the road, from which vantage point we managed to get the happy snaps we were after. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Grabbed with LuckyL10n during our day run to Sydney chasing a few pesky GeGnomes along with a few Trigs...

So, the guards daughter is cacher....that sort of helped...but no way was he was letting us park out the front to grab a photo, so it was around the block and park across the road in the car park, which was easy on summer Sunday afternoon. Wouldn't try this in footy season!!

Photo was snapped and we were out of there. TFTT

I decided on a quick wander after visiting a family member at St Vincents. This one popped up on the radar, so a quick selfie was required. An interesting Trig!!

An easy feature to spot, but not so easy to photograph as the army is paranoid about people with camera pointing them in their direction!
You can get sort of a shot from the side out of sight of the guard post, but I wonder if it should be archived.
