Parking is a premium – so found a spot & took the shots – then I drove past – could have got better shots - thanks

Find while waiting for the bus. Nice building.

Travelling with WaywardWoman to do some caching near Hunters Hill. Another trig I remembered before we got to it. Usually I thought about it after we had passed by. A quick photo. As it was very early and overcast, you can just see the cross on the top. TFTT

Family afternoon gaming day! And then you have enough of them for a moment and need to go for a walk. Captured some flags and shot this trig.

Drove passed this one then did the loop around so we could get a photo of church. The weather wasn't very nice. Thanks for the trig

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1071 - 10539 overall cache finds.

Found during a run up to the big Lane Cove Event with Sol de Lune, Toy Hunters and LuckyL10n when we decided to grab a bunch of trigs as well. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especialy the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !

The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted.

Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA494 - 14:15; The day had arrived and it was up at sparrows to join toyhunters, fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune for a trip to Sydney for the 'Let's Party - Come Celebrate Australia's First' Event. After the early start we had plenty of time, so we grabbed three trigs on the way in. The event was drawing to a close, so our intrepid band headed off, but had allowed time for a few more finds on the way home, including this one. TFTC Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

Found with Sol de Lune, fitzy_1965 and LuckyL10n on our trip to Lane Cove for the birthday event. A lovely trig in a great area, to stop for a quick rest and stretch. TFTC GCA!

Hadn't planned on this one, but as we were driving past...well, it didn't take long to grab a photo....

31-Aug-14
Happened to be walking by and saw it on the GPS. There was a large number (20+) of Ibis in one of the palm trees - a very odd sight.

28-Apr-14
Picked up on my way to a nearby CITO event today!

16-Apr-14
The last of the trigs for the day. School holidays so no students but plenty of cockatoos. Found at 3:12 pm.

12-Jan-14
Another local trig it was high time to log. On a Sunday in school holidays it was easy to use the driveway to take a quick snap and drive away.

17-Oct-12
Hehehe pulled up just as the first parents were lining up waiting for the school day to end so I joined the queue, shot from the car, then putted off unobserved Wink Nice trig for a passive.

12-Jul-12
Found on a run of Trigs in the area this evening. Atleast the lighting stands out at night.

31-Mar-12
Another one I travel past on a regular basis. Parked around the corner and walked back to get the snap.

20-Jan-12
Heading off on a frog hunt after a 3/4 day of OHS meetings, this was the a nice easy find on the way.
Sadly the frogs had all gone before I got there. Sad

Once again, I've driven past this many many times. Pulled in and parked in the visitors parking and quickly snapped a few happy snaps.

Logged this one while passing through Ryde on business.

Easy to photograph.

Ornate cross was designated an official TS by the NSW Department of Lands.

Thanks to rogerw3 for publishing it!

Impressive stone edifice!

11-Sep-11
On a Sunday I drove up the driveway and took a quick photo.

05-Sep-11
A third Trig before work. No parking close by, so drove around the corner and walked back. Found a great shot from 100m away. Nice sunny morning.

25-Aug-11
No great challenge finding this one, but could be tricky to photograph if the students are around the area, these days taking photos with kids is frowned upon, so best to wait until they are all back in class.
