This is a walk-in trig only. As with many an area in the greater area this area is a restricted area, that means only walkers only and a fine of $11,000.00 if you disobey. So, going back about eight months ago I figured a place to park along Barkers Lodge Road and I walked in from there. It was a pleasant walk to trig with many wild life seen along the way. Once I hit a cross or tee intersection in the track I turned into another track which is the track to trig. These tracks in the area are good four-wheel drive tracks and it looks like they are driven on but very rarely, maybe the local fire units. Once I did the turn and crossed the Gillans Creek which is dry at the moment this is where the terrain level increases. Still a four-wheel drive track but you are climbing a steep winding hill before it flattens off the last bit to trig. Yep as rogerw3 and pjmpjm have said in there logs its about 30 metres from main track so a very short bush bash to the trig. I left the trig as found and just took the photos of the area. From here I did the short flat walk to Oakdale Res trig and came back the same way. On the way down the hill I was very glad I brought with me today the bush walking stick as at times it was very loose and slippery going down the steep incline in the track. I really enjoyed the walk out here today and well worth the effort too. Thanks again.

Did a Recon on trig – looks to be all tracks in the area are gated off – will need to walk in, as signs say walkers only
We found the block main access, but we think there is a way around. We shall return!
This was a great find, even if the mast burnt a long time ago. The vanes are still there laying flat on top of the cairn. Just a short distance from the track, but do not do as we did. In the excitement of finding this trig we neglected to take note of where we came from and got turned around, it took us a bit of time to realise that and back track to the trig and head in the right direction to the fire trail 30 metres away!
Still well worth the effort, but approach from the South as the Northern track is private property and locked by Sydney Waters.

Found together with rogerw3 this afternoon.
Really enjoyed the embossed 'Ditton' on the old vanes.
Almost got turned around and lost in the bush, 30 metres from trail!
Will leave it to rogerw3 to enter further details.
