Based on the earlier photo, I thought this was easy. But then, disaster struck: the canes are not on the top anymore. Same picture as before, now nothing!

After completing the Ditton Oakdale trig I did the flat walk to this trig. When I arrived, there were workers here and about three off Sydney water work utes near gate. I could here a digger in the background but as I got closer it became very quiet. They most likely come in on the private road from Burrangorang Road. This is where I became a bit rattled trying to look for trig as I didn’t want to be talked to and asked what am I doing here and as well there is two big water reservoirs here now. So, I walked along to the first older reservoir which the trig is on and also was looking on the newer reservoir as at the time I was unsure which reservoir would have the trig. I kept well away of the reservoir and tried to look from a distance but I was walking down a slope and this wasn’t helping, so before anybody decided to come out and have a chat with me I turned around and did a distance shot threw the trees. As I was walking back to car I was puzzled about the second reservoir and read logs. I figured I should have done my home work a bit better on this trig. Before I logged this trig I looked on google earth and it only shows the one reservoir. So, the second newer reservoir which sits at the back of trig one but at an angle closer to Burrangorang Road, must be a very recent addition here as it isn’t showing on google maps, now I know why there are many workers here most likely still doing the last part of the install of the reservoir. I noticed on the surrounding fence there is a sign saying area is under video surveillance. So thanks for the walk out here and enjoyed it very much as well. Clan Griffin

Did a Recon on trig – looks to be all tracks in the area are gated off – will need to walk in, as signs say walkers only

We found the block main access, but we think there is a way around. We shall return!

Found together with rogerw3 while searching for two other nearby trigs.

As we walked along, rogerw3 pointed and said, 'Look at that!" And we were already standing right next to a reservoir with a gray trig on top! Quite a surprise for two old trig hunters . . .

Anyhow, this one was much appreciated.

As rogerw3 writes in his log, take care with how you approach this one.

Found this afternoon with pjmpjm on our mini Trig hunt.
This Trig was quite unexpected we knew there was a reservoir here but had not found any indication that a Trig was on it, in fact it does not even have a TS number.
Nonetheless it is always a pleasure to find a new trig.
