I was changing trains at Epping and noticed this trig on my GPS, so I made the short detour to log this. TFTC.

#GA753 - 13:40; Sol de lune and I had decided that double points month made a flying day trip to Sydney to grab some more trigs and perhaps a GeGnome or two a worthwhile adventure. An itinerary was hastily prepared and today was to be the day. We had completed our mission at Rookwood, after grabbing a couple of bonus caches in Bankstown on the way past. It was now off further north into uncharted waters for us to see what was available. Made our way to GZ for a quick find on this one, although the trees feature prominently in the happy snap. Last find for the day after doing a bit of a loop of 14 GC finds. This was easy to park on a Sunday, just had to find the right spot for a selfie with the spire behind!
Nice walk around Epping today collecting caches, munzees and farming portals. Of to watch the Rugby now!

Our neighbours in the street I grew up in a couple of suburbs away used to go to this church. I was surprised to find it listed as a trig some time ago but never got around to driving by the get the photo. Today I finally made the diversion and took the shot of the reasonably tall spire which must be visible from a good distance. I couldn't see any survey marks in the vicinity though.
grabbed this one after missing (or waiting for the next one. yeah that's right!!!!) a train
We need more of these kind of ..weird style trigs at home..

I dropped Blossom off at Epping station and had to find a way to turn around to head NW again.
Decided to head into Epping and collect this trig.

Logged today while passing through the area with rogerw3, placing Leap Frogs!
Happy to get this one -- a church cross officially designated by the NSW Department of Lands as a 'passive trig' -- because it was my 280th trigpoint.

Grabbed a Gnome just before the onslaught of frogs, and came back past this trig. Took some photos.

Found this one today while in the area, not very difficult to find as it is visible from a long way off.
