#GA1353 - 10:57; Doing the 'Tour de Wollondilly' with Sol de lune and andrewbt to collect a few trigs and other bits and pieces. This was the first trig stop and a three for one, with another nearby trig and what looks like a preliminary CORS set up. Luckily the gate was open today and we were able to drive right up to GZ. The pics were taken and we were soon on our way again. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Found it. Not having cached much recently I decided to make a day of this gorgeous warm weather and head out caching. On our way through the area we discovered a meandering road, which looked like a private driveway, up to the top of a hill containing two Trig Points and a lovely view to the west. Nice, never been here before let alone knowing it existed. Thanks.

Two trigs for the effort of one. Cool ! I had about ten minutes to get up here and photograph both trigs before, according to the sign, the gates would be shut. Managed it in less time than that.

I made the trip to Picton to pick up a few Trigs along the way and this one was on the map.
While it is on private property it can easily be seen from the track. The mast ans vanes have long gone as well as the name plaque and the instrument mounting plate.

A sign at the gate showed that access here is available by roadway between 8am and 2pm Mon-Fri.
You can drive up a hard road all the way to the trig.
While here, have a look at the Mushroom Tunnel on the lower level dirt road - the tunnel is apparently haunted at times.

Our first FTF, a family event. No mast or vane remains nor the ID plaque. Interesting spooky tunnel close by that we investigated as well, made it all a bit interesting.
