Well I saw a couple of movables in Wollondilly – dragonZone so I figured I do a short afternoon quick punch down to this area & pick these movables up. As I was traveling south down the highway & getting closer to the turnoff the havens opened up & got a little wet picking up the movables. Luckily on the way home this was the 4th trig & it was nice & dry so the shots were taken without the camera getting wet. Well not much homework done so relied on the GPS to take me here. Well, all I can say is I enjoyed the walk up the hill once at the top I could see the houses & a nice road here – anyway a nice well protected trig tower visited & a stunning view from up here – by the way a 2 for the $ of 1 visit - thanks again

Found on a roadtrip to Sydney with GrimRaider. We took a side trip to Mt Razorback to check out the old roads. TFTC

The sign at the beginning of the road says it is for residents only. That had to be ignored.

Heading to Sydney today for a doctors appointment so started early to grab a few trigs. Managed 10 for the day. This one was first off the rank.

Geocaching Australia (GCA) Cache Find Number 1302 - 14331 overall cache finds.
Found while heading home to Canberra today during a work trip up in the Penrith region. While I mainly looked for GC caches, when an easy GCA cache comes along we go for that as well. Trigs are particularly nice to track down and find. I was very happy when they became part of the GCA cache family. Its especially satisfying if you have made a big climb up for one ! I have also now joined dragonZone in Clan Cerberus, so there are more reasons to find those GCA caches. Its interesting to find the many different types of trigs. From the traditional metal legs and vanes, to the concrete base with vanes, to the ones on top of water tanks (especially the red ones !), as well the new CORS type. When you look on a GCA map and see all those hundreds and hundreds of blue 'Z's it shows just how many there are out there. Shame so many are on private property and cannot be accessed at all. So as far as I'm concerned every trig that can be found and photographed is a real bonus !
The trig was quickly 'found'. Piccie taken and posted. Trig on a Tower !!
Thanks Geocaching Australia !

#GA1363 - 14:10; Doing the 'Tour de Wollondilly' with Sol de lune and andrewbt to collect a few trigs and other bits and pieces. After completing what we could of our mission to Warragamba Dam, it was time to head towards home. Dropped by the Razorback and decided to go through the gate and up the bumpy track to the summit. I was very happy we hadn't done the steep climb on foot as we discovered houses nearby and a convenient street which would have made for a smoother ride! Grabbed some snaps ofd the tower and the trig before heading carefully back down the hill the way we came. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Collected a few trigs while on a work trip to Sydney. This was one of the two on location. Happy with that. No proximity rule here!

Found this one from a distance away while I was trying to figure out how to get closer without upsetting the locals. At the end I decided not to do it and just to leave it like this.

2nd stop for my trip and the second area with 2 trigs....gotta be happy with that. Photo snapped and all was good.

I spotted the vanes on the trig at this point and drove as close as I could. Found a driveway with a gate "please close the gate" doesn't mean private property in my book so I walked up the steep track. Took a pic of the tower - is that one trig? Then got shots of the traditional trig. You can see there was a plaque on the plinth but it's been removed I think. Great views up here.

Saw this one from a few k's away very clear. Once I got closer it was much harder to get a view. Opened the gate and walked the last couple of meters.

A 2nd trig for the day while I was working in the Picton area today. This one was reached just as the rain eased off, making the pic a little easier to take - and yet it was a sunny day when I started out.
FTF - Closest access is S34 08.393 E150 39.901 at the end of Rofes Way.
