I drove around (upwards) until I found a view of the trig. In town for the Gong Mega and today a flash mob at the lighthouse, so I spent the day geocaching in Wollongong. TFTC.

Well, I could not see the trig from the start of the gate, so I decided to walk up the driveway to the fence of the reservoirs...and got a half decent shot through the wire.

#GA658 - 15:45; Sol de lune and I had discussed a wild trig hunt in the Illawarra quite a while ago and today was the day we tried to bring home the bacon. We had collected a few on the way down the mountain and in to Kiama, before heading north for a DNF in Shellharbour then on to the main section of the Tour de Illawarra. We arrived in the general vicinity and after a bit of a drive around for the best position, managed to squeeze the geomobile past a removalist van taking up a large slice of the access road we wanted to take. Took the usual long distance snap from near the gate. TFTC Geocaching Australia

Found with LuckyL10n on a day trip to The Gong...
Yep, an interesting area to get a photo from. Follow the advice of previous finders and arrived at the gate and could see the trig in the distance. Grabbed a photo and then headed off. TFTHTST.....

Yes this one is hard to get close to, however you can get a good look at it from Lyndon Street.

Another Trig that turned out to be an easy find, even if you can't get much closer than 120 metres, however it is quite easy to see from the little driveway next to the gated road at the end of Wilford Street.
This trig looks in need of a coat of paint and perhaps some corrosion repairs as well.

Strange it is called Bellambi as you are defenitely in Corrimal already. The trig is on a water reservoir inside the collier grounds. Closest I could get was from Wiltord street within about 230 meters. From there it is visible although the pictures are a bit of a puzzle!
