There was not getting up close to this one, so the long shot was taken.

GCA 1706. Found during a caching run down to the Wollongong region this weekend.
Despite the fence and the fading light I managed to 'find' this one.

Was out here on our bike ride earlier in the day but couldn't work out how to access this one. Returned later in the van and Mr Beetle waited with the van while I walked along the beach and up a track to a spot where I could see the trig marker.
My effort for this one is up there with the world's worst trig photos but the camera in the phone kept focusing on the GPS which I had stuck in the fence and not the trig.
I think I proved I was here though.
Thanks.

fences fences fences...
Wish I could have got closer to this one. However there were so many patched holes along the fence line where I wandered that I convinced myself that I probably shouldn't. I was also quite scared of ticks so didn't dare get closer from the other side. Haha.

Found while out hunting caches in the area.
Seeing the Bellambi Weather Station in person, I now know why the temps given here are so different to mine at home.

Found with LuckyL10n during our day trip down to The Gong...
A neat spot down along the beach....and an easy find once up the dune.

#GA657 - 15:30; Sol de lune and I had discussed a wild trig hunt in the Illawarra quite a while ago and today was the day we tried to bring home the bacon. We had collected a few on the way down the mountain and in to Kiama, before heading north for a DNF in Shellharbour then on to the main section of the Tour de Illawarra. On arrival we waited for a member of the local constabulary to leave the carpark, before we headed up the hill where the required snaps were taken. TFTC Geocaching Australia

After the Brandon Park CITO Event I tried to access the trig from one side, and then got it from the East. Nice one @ 1600

Found on the NSW leg of our Round Aust trip
We had to escape the house for a while (Actually it was a quick trip to the medical centre to get a prescription for a Pilonoidal Sinus infection), and went for a drive to Bellambi Point afterwards to see the sights and looked for a cache nearby. Saw this on the way to the cache and stopped to get a photo on the way back to the car, there is a nice large hole in the fence, not that I would encourage any one to trespass!
TFTC,
Thanks from Margaret River West Australia!

Wandered around looking for a way to get close but in the end I went through a hole in the fence.

GrimRaider and I made the short climb to take a photo of this Trig Station.

Another Trig that I have had on my radar for some time. Got to this one from the East side fence, no problem seeing the Trig over the cleared ground.
The mast is of the short variety to help against the strong winds, the name plaque is intact and in place. Strange to see white vanes and a yellow mast.
This is on Sydney Water ground and well fenced in.

The trig is indeed on the sewage grounds, but from the east side very well visible from about hundred meters. Didn't try the west approach wich will bring you closer but probably with less visability.
