Came down for the Wings Over Illawarra airshow and did some caching beforehand. A trig is always a bonus! It's just standing there at the side of the road. Magnificent. Over 6 years unloved too!

#GA643 - 12:15; Sol de lune and I had discussed a wild trig hunt in the Illawarra quite a while ago and today was the day we tried to bring home the bacon. We had collected a few on the way down the mountain and in to Kiama, before heading north for a DNF in Shellharbour before heading north for the main section of the Tour de Illawarra. Roadworks in the area looked like presenting an obstacle to our access, but didn't take long to identify the detour. Literally a drive by this trig, where it is situated right beside the street adjacent to somebody's driveway. Beggars can't be choosers, so we we happy to snap and head on our way again. Found while doing the caching rounds. Had to find a detour while the roads are being updated and infrastructure is being built.

I first thought this one would be on private property of one of the coalmine sites, so I left it alone for a while. When I checked today it was an easy drive to the Trig on public road till within 3 meters!
