a short and punchy walk up (and straight up) resulted in the view of this... trig

Fortunately, 10m away was a nice view. Not Mt Kiera, but nice enough.

The track in here was a bit indistinct in places but managed to get to the trig okay. Not much of a view from the trig itself, but good from the nearby cliff lookout.

Greenbeetle Nut

Yes I hard climb to the top but worth the effort, lots of places along the way to get some great views, take photos and have a rest if needed. Then stopped at Windy Gully cemetery and had a look at the head stones of some of the 96 men and boys killed at Mt. Kembla colliery in 1902. Picked up two caches in the vicinity today as well. Thanks for listing this spot.

I knew what I was in for at this one, as I had been up there before! A fantastic walk wich I saved for a day like today?! Had a great walk, signed the logbook at the trig and went for the spectacular views over the coast. Alas due to all the smoke still around the views were not what they normally are. The walk is a steep 1.7 km climb and an easy 1.7 return.
