I'm choosing to stay close to the sea breeze today... if there will be any in this heatwave. Doing a few cases along the coast whilst exploring it. This trig was one of them.
Sheeeesh, why did I get out if the car door this one? it's so hot!

Easy peasy. All I had to do was pull the car into the gutter, roll down the window and snap the photograph. In town for the Gong Mega and today a flash mob at the lighthouse, so I spent the day geocaching in Wollongong. TFTC.

Trying to find the best view of the trig, wish I had taken alnic39's advice as that ended up being the best place to take Mangerton's happy snap

I picked up a few trigs on my way out of Wollongong, including this one. There were some guys building a home near where I stopped and were wondering what I was doing. Easy grab once I found the right perspective. TFTT

#GA646 - 13:10; Sol de lune and I had discussed a wild trig hunt in the Illawarra quite a while ago and today was the day we tried to bring home the bacon. We had collected a few on the way down the mountain and in to Kiama, before heading north for a DNF in Shellharbour before heading north for the main section of the Tour de Illawarra. This was an easy find once we found the right side street to get a view of the trig. TFTC Geocaching Australia

0705 Drove too close, and like Disappearing Mountain, on the South Island of NZ, the closer you get the more difficult to get a photo!
So went on back down to the cross street and got a shot there.

After having to be down this way for a job, figured I might as well get a couple of finds. I could have also grabbed the nearby Hospital one which is next to where I was working, but one day I will be on top of it and get a closeup
This shot tried to get the trig and the iPhone GPS in the same shot.

This should have been an easy find, I had the correct route planned to Reservoir Street and to Eirene Avenue. No problem an easy walk from the station for Trig number 4 today.
However I had an attack of stupid on the way and decided that it would be easier via McKenzie Avenue and Kelvin Road, big mistake could not see any access to the reserve from there so had to walk the long way around the hill to get to where I should have gone in the first place!
Still a decent view from the end of Eirene Avenue.

Hidden between a couple of houses it still wasn't hard to find the twin watertanks at GZ. Finding a spot from where the trig is visible is a whole lot harder!! If you look through the trees there is a great view over Wollongong.
