Sophoutloud and I are out in Orange for an ultimate disc tournament so we made the plan to stay out here a couple of nights and make a weekend of it. There is a couple of Trigs and caches around Orange and after running for 3 hours chasing a frisbee we didn’t feel like doing much else too active so we decided caching was the order for the day. This one was a quick and easy grab as we stopped here for dinner at the RSL and then had a quick look around the town at night.
A beauty of an old church

A very cold day to be out chasing Trigs with GLiSS! Some had budding scientists visiting them and others, like this one, were a little quieter. I love old churches so I’m super excited to have been are to check this one out! Great to have another one in the bag. Now to shoot some battleships!

#GA2427 - 15:25; Day five, the last day of the summer sojourn in the Blue Mountains with the geohoney. After an enjoyable few days based in Leura, the time had come to pack up and head for home. It was also time to do one last quick caching run around the area while the other half finished getting ready for the trip. After collecting some caches in Leura and doing a sweep through Wentworth Falls, we were now packed up and headed for home the back way through Bathurst, Orange and Canowindra with a view to adding a few caches as well as a few dragonZones to the tally. After reaching Bathurst we headed off to have a look at the Mount Panorama circuit, stopping for some trigs along the way as well as at the top of the mountain Dancing A few more stops as we passed back through the town and along the highway. We had now reached Orange and our third church for the day, except this one was a trig as well. TFTT Geocaching Australia Very HappyClan Cerberus

On an Orange surrounds trig hunt with rogerw3 in Wintery conditions ...

A park in a nearby side street and a walk to Holy Trinity exposed the dark spire clearly with the grey sky background.

Found on a cold winters day but no snow today like yesterday in town. We did see the remnants of snowmen though. Grabbed a picture (just) as we drove past - too cold to get out

Took my 20 year old for shopping trip to Orange today. Grabbed a few Trigs along the way. Smile
Had the wrong lens on my camera though, so took two photos at each point - one with the trig point on it's own, the other with the GPS in front of it but the trig out of focus.

Parked briefly around the back to grab this one.
